The interview

Areum didn’t expect the CEO of Cheng law firm to be so angry, because of a teddy bear. The teddy bear must have meant a lot to Chenglei. Areum slowly looked at Chenglei´s eyes. He was always cold, but this time his eyes showed even more coldness mixed with anger and sadness.

"I am really sorry sir, i..i..i..i was just curious"

Chenglei´s expression didn’t change, even a tiny bit.

"okay, lets just start the interview"

Areum expected Chenglei to literally drag her out of the building in front of everyone, but to her surprise he still wanted to have the interview with her.

"thank you so much, sir"

He pointed at the chair as he sat down in front of Areum

"So, you can start by presenting the suicide case."

Areum was fully prepared for the interview, but she didn’t know that she was going to present in front of the CEO himself Areum was a little nervous.

"Ok, so in my opinion the victim didn’t commit suicide because it was actually a homicide."

Chenglei was quite surprised at Areum´s opinion because it reminded him of himself in the past.

Areum showed a couple pictures of the crime scene and the victim to Chenglei.

"According to the fingerprints on the victims body there was a second person at the crime scene. The second person was the victims step brother."

Areum was about to continue when Chenglei suddenly stopped her.

"You can stop here, i can see how interested you are in this case, but before I give you my final answer I am going to ask you one more question."

Areum was a a bit displeased to why Chenglei stopped her, but she didn’t say anything about it.

"Okay sir"

Chenglei put both of his hands on the table.

"I have interviewed many people in the past, but no one ever questioned the case and gave an opposing response in addition, may i ask why you did that?"

Areum was quite stun at Chenglei´s question, but she was pleased by the fact that he didn’t ask something out of content.

"My only dream from i was five years old was being a lawyer, and i have always wanted to learn the real truth behind every case i heard about in the past. The funny thing is that i constantly argued with my teachers while studying at the university because i had so many questions and arguments about every case. I hope that answers your question sir."

Chenglei was very pleased with Areum´s answer because it once again reminded him of himself.

"Yes, so you can come to the office from tomorrow, the team leader will talk to you about your tasks."

Areum couldn’t believe that her dream finally came true.

"thank you so much, sir."

Areum was one her way out when Chenglei called her.

"Excuse me"

Areum turned back and looked at Chenglei´s extremely handsome face.

"I still don’t know your name, miss"

"oh, its Areum.....Park Areum"

Chenglei sat down again and started going trough some files without saying anything in response.

Areum was confused at first but she couldn’t expect anything else from such a Cold hearted man.
