Prologue

My name is Min Seoul. I was a junior in high school. I was abused by my dad after my mom left when I was three.

I had finally gotten a job, but my sad life ended after I was killed by truck\-kun.

That’s what I thought at least.

My soul then teleported to a computer\-like space.

I mean literally.

It had the digits everywhere.

Before that though, I had already accepted the fact that I had died.

''System rebirth at your service.'' A voice said.

‘’Well, what’s that?'' I said.

''System rebirth is a place that you go through before rebirthing.''

''Hey, when can I die?'' I said.

''You can die, or become a goddess after your hundredth rebirth.''

''What rebirth am I on?'' I asked the system.

''You have not rebirthed before.'' It told me.

I sigh extra loud.

''Ok, well, how do you skip a rebirth?''

''You cannot skip a rebirth.''

I thought, *''If I find a way to buy rebirths it should be okay. Right?''*

''You also cannot buy a rebirth.''

*''What kind of joke is this?''* I thought.

''This is not a joke.''

''You better not be reading my mind.'' I thought again.*

''What do you mean?'' The system asked. ''The system was designed to cater to our users needs.''

''Well thanks a lot.'' I said sarcastically. ‘’ You sure are catering to my needs.''

''Reading minds should be illegal, not that the system follows rules, but...''

''It isn’t illegal because we’re were designed to cater to our users needs by using their thoughts.''

''Well, obviously.'' I said.

My death should’ve been peaceful, but this is anything but peaceful.

''Is there any way to die early?''

''...''

''I said is there any way to die early.''

''Computing...''

''What do you mean computing!''

''The system has unknown errors. Will you please ask that question again?''

I’m getting annoyed now.

‘’Don’t system‘s have memories?'' I asked. ''You should have already remembered what I asked you.''

''Loading...''

''Ok.'' I said extra calmly.

My life is just a book for someone to read, so I’ll never be able to end it until the book is done.

*''This must me torture from hell.''* I thought.

Trying to move on, I thought of ways to destroy the system.

I thought of how Star Wars uses the force, so I decided to try to break the system using that idea.

I gathered energy in my mind into a ball, and shoved it out of my mind as quickly as I could.

''Slam!''

I looked up and the system was glitching.

*''It worked!''* I thought happily.

I forgot to think about the fact that I could reincarnate into a goddess.

''Uh, oh.''

Then I felt a void sucking my soul away.

''Dang it!'' I said.
