First Days

...When I woke up the next morning around 9 a.m., I briefly wondered where I was, but it came back to me almost immediately....

...I was in the house of my producer....

...I stayed in bed staring at the ceiling....

...My head was so overwhelmed by the mounting emotions that I had a headache....

...Almost an hour later, someone knocked on the door of the room and asked if I was awake, but I did not answer....

...A few moments later, the assistant and another man and a woman entered....

...The assistant greeted me with good morning young master and then introduced the man I did not know as my butler and the woman as my maid....

...He then said goodbye and went out....

...I looked at them both briefly and then asked almost rudely what their names were....

...So the butler introduced himself as Sebastian and the maiden as Miriam....

...Although I would not like this situation I understood it....

...The rest of my life I would lay at his feet. That is what my "father" wanted....

...After I had straightened myself Sebastian led me to the dining room. Where HE was already waiting for me. We had breakfast together in silence before he told me at the end of the breakfast. I could leave the house as long as bodyguards went with me and I did not neglect my other duties....

...No matter how absurd that sounds but I was happy....

...Of course, my first thought was that I would pay a visit to my best friend....

..."What kind of duties?" I asked....

...The night before the banquet, I read through everything again to check....
