CHAPTER 3: BLOOD

Riya POV

It was still dark when i woke up. It was rain was pouring hard. I was trying to pick my phone from the bedside table when i realised a hand around my waist. I got startled. But it was Dai. She was still asleep. Without waking her up i grasped my phone and unlocked it. There was a beautiful photo of three young girls with contagious smiles. Yes it was us- me, sam and Dai. Seeing it, my lips curled into a smile unknowingly. It was taken on my last birthday. But an overwhelming sadness build up. A tear escaped my left eye, but i wiped it off asap. It was already 7am. Still we did not get a single clue about Sam. I sighed. Today, I'm not gonna comeback home without her at any cost. I need to be strong for my friends and family. I quickly got out of bed. I grabbed my clothes and went to take a shower. As i opened the bathroom door, i was totally shocked. My blood turned cold.

I tried to scream.."Dai...Daisy" but only a whisper came. I could not believe my own eyes.

I stepped backwards as fast as i could. But my legs got twisted and i landed on my butt.

'THUD'

" oh my god it literally is freaking scary"..... "n..no...no" my lips quivered. How can someone be so cruel? I started shaking and sweating badly. I wanted to be stronger but my body was behaving like a coward. The fear inside me was triggered.

Daisy POV

"THUD" i woke due to a loud sound. When i moved my hands to feel the person beside me, i realised i was alone on the bed, Ri was not there. "THUD" again i heard the sound breaking me off my thoughts. It was coming from the direction of bathroom. I rushed towards the direction of the sound.

I saw Ri on the floor. Her face was pale as if she saw a ghost. She was sweating badly. She was struggling to get up.

I speedily hurried towards her and asked cupping her face between my palms, "Ri, what happened? How did you fall down? Did you get hurt?".....

She said,"Da...Dai..(but came as a whisper),...in..inside...the....ba..th.room"... She could not speak a single sentence properly without stammering. It worried me.

When i turned around, the bathroom door was slightly open... There was a strange unpleasant odour intoxicating the atmosphere resembling yesterday.... My heart started beating wildly when my senses suspected something worse. I was totally stunned...my jaw dropped on the floor. Without knowing i spoke, "It is freaking crazy. WHAT THE HELL".

As i got inside, i realized something  "it is some serious s***".

I saw freaking 9 dead cats on our bathroom floor drained out of blood. I just could not look at the floor now. It was horrific. I felt nauseated. When i gazed around, the walls were scribbled with some deep sh*t with blood. It was written, "I LOVE U BABY GIRL, I ONLY LOVE YOU", "YOU ARE MINE", THIS TIME YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM MY GRASP",etc... The wall was full of infuriating and scary phrases. Full of crap!

The whole bathroom either had spilled blood or blood stains... In simple words, it was bloody. Along with that some photos of Ri was also there which had bloody handprints. I felt as if seeing a horror movie. And some freaking crazy emojis with blood. It gave me goosebumps. This is really scary. No, no, no, this is beyond scary and totally abnormal.

A sudden shiver ran through my spine when i looked at the mirror, i was beyond shocked. My senses were flooded with fear. The creepiest thing i've ever seen in my life was just in front of my eyes:

"BABY GIRL, I'M COMING FOR U...THIS TIME YOU'LL NOT BE ABLE TO ESCAPE AND BE READY FOR THE PUNISHMENT FOR LEAVING ME BEHIND ALL ALONE...I HOPE YOU ENJOY MY PRESENT. THIS IS NOTHING IN FRONT OF THE FUTURE, THERE IS MORE BLOOD FOR YOU TO SEE. YOUR COUNTDOWN STARTS NOW.

               I LOVE U BABY GIRL....

                                       -YOUR BLOODY HUBBY

" oh my god" seeing it i couldn't help but get shocked. I could not understand what in the world was happening around us. I whisper screamed.."WTH...WHO IS THIS BLOODY PSYCHO"....Then i heard someone sobbing.

I suddenly realized who it was. I ran back to her. She was shaking and sweating more comparing before. She was a total mess. I crouched and hugged her. She hugged me back tight. I slowly patted her back in an attempt to calm her down.

I broke the hug and said, "Ri, i'm here, it's going to be fine, calm down". I gave her a warm kiss on her forehead reassuringly. She slowly calmed down but i could see the fear evident in her eyes. Then she walked towards the bed with my support and sat down leaning on the headboard. I poured a glass of water and she gulped it down at one go.

I said, " Ri, this is getting serious, we should inform him. We already hid something big and signifucant about Sam. And now it's all a mess. I can't risk anymore, It's some serious sh*t". She said, "bu..but...if he knows he will..." i cut her off in the middle.."i'm calling him and that's final". She again said,"please...." I gave her a death glare and she shut her mouth. This girl is really crazy, even after all this mess she is stopping me from reaching him. I grabbed my phone and called him. He picked his phone.

On the call,

Daisy: hello

Unknown: hey! Wassup?

Daisy: i'm good...

Unknown: how is my little devil(lazy) and love(excited)

Daisy: that...that...

Unknown: what happened? Why are u stammering.... (sudden change in tone)

Daisy: can you please come to our apartment?..mm.. like now (hella nervous)

Unknown: it's not like u, What's the matter...? Is there a problem? cold'

Daisy: ye..yes...

Someone: f***... I will be there as soon as i can...(cold and worried)'

Riya POV

I am really scared after seeing that horror scripted in my bathroom.My crazy mind kept on screaming the odds - 'it's him...he's back.' No, no, it can't be. He cannot find me. But i don't anna believe it. I know I'm safe. I wish it better not be him. My conscience interrupted, 'If it's him, this time you cannot escape his claws'.

Dai went to bring something for us to eat and drink to keep ourselves engaged and diverted. To calm myself, i fixed my gaze at the window. It was raining heavily. I love rainy seasons a lot. But today, I was continuously having a weird feeling that something bad is gonna happen. And I don't know what more bad can happen when everything is already in it's worst state. Let me clear your doubts, i have very strong instincts.

How are we going to find Sam? I don't know how she is or in what state she is. And what will i say when he confronts me about Sam?

UNKNOWN  POV

Somewhere in a room... The whole room was filled with her photos. Sniffs her scent and groans..." This is just a small gift my love, i have more and more surprises for u" smirks.... " How dare u forget me and move on...You better be ready for everything because once i get you back, you will never be able to leave my side. I'm not letting u go again my love..NEVER EVER..."...hahahahaha.....hahah.... laughs evilly.
