Episode 18

I offer Nana my arm and lead her to the garden. When we arrive, she stops, both of them clueless, and now I'm going to die.

"First, I apologize. Second, enjoy yourselves. I love you both very much."

I take Nana to the other side of the table, leaving her facing my father. They don't take their eyes off each other. I turn off the lights and leave only the candles lit. I kiss Nana on the cheek and hug my father. I leave them there and decide to go to a bar I used to frequent.

I drink a few shots of whiskey. I'm in no condition to drive home. From the other side of the bar, I notice someone staring at me. I subtly turn in my chair and look in the direction of the woman. I give her my best smile, and she gets the message at the same time. She gets up and comes towards me.

Maybe it's the drink, but the woman is beautiful, and what a brunette. She's about my height, with a perfect body, shoulder-length hair, and eyes as black as night. The woman is a sight to behold.

"Hey handsome, drinking alone? Want some company?"

"Hi beautiful, I was about to leave, but I can change my mind."

She gives me a very naughty smile and comes closer, stopping in front of me. She sits down, looks into my eyes, and bites her lips, then she kisses me. Without thinking twice, I accept the kiss. When I come to my senses, it's already daytime. I woke up to the strong sunlight hitting my face. I drank so much that I don't even remember what happened. I wonder if we used protection. Good heavens, where did my clothes go?!

I get out of bed and cover myself with the sheet. I end up stepping on a condom. Phew, at least I didn't screw up. I hear a noise coming from the bathroom. Someone is taking a shower. I start looking for my clothes. I'll get the hell out of here before the beautiful lady comes out and wants to question what happened between us. I don't want to wait around to see.

I dress in record time. Outside, I see we're in a luxury hotel. I hail a taxi and get out of there as fast as possible. When I get home, Nana is already awake and greets me with a beautiful smile. I can already tell they had a wonderful night.

"Looks like someone's running away from something."

"Oh, good morning Nana."

"As if I didn't know you. You slept with some girl, and since you hate relationships, you ran away before she realized you were gone."

"God, Nana, you really know me."

"I'm going upstairs to take a shower."

"Go ahead, you reek of alcohol, boy."

"No need to say anything else. Where's my father? Did you two enjoy the night?"

She looks at me with a shy expression.

"Nana, relax. You two are the people I love most in my life. After my mother passed away, you're the closest person I have to a mother, so it's all good."

"Oh, my boy, I thought you might be uncomfortable."

"Not at all. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see you two together."

She comes over and hugs me. She has no idea how much I care about her, and having her here with my father gives me peace of mind, knowing he's not alone.
