Chapter 1 - ENGAGEMENT

( We both are the same. ) 

"Sierra! Do you like this ring ?", Mama asked me.

I nodded my head in response ...

Guess what? Today is my 12th Birthday.

Oh my! Did I ever mention who I am? Let me introduce myself then.

I am Sierra Tatiana...A person who lives in the great empire of Louvremont as the young guardian of it. I am the heiress to the great family of witches - Tatiana.

My ancestor, Tatiana first founded this family.

Our family traits are simple:- White hair with a blue tint, blue eyes and a memory that can revise anything and yes, most importantly, magic.

Our family is mentioned in those thick history books and the tales of simple adventure.

Although ... filled with many wonders, It doesn't change the fact that this is a modern world. 

LE LITTLE TIME SKIP TO THE EVENING 

So I got ready .... rather I should say, My maids, got me ready, especially Carissa .... Who was talking about a boy.

LE FLASHBACK ~

"What is his name Carissa ?", One of the maids asked her while fixing my makeup.

"His name is Brooklyn! Brooklyn Irene Harold! That boy is quite handsome according to rumours! Bright Blond hair! Fair skin! Mysterious turquoise eyes that can enchant anyone !", Carissa started to dream.

The only thing that got me interested in this guy was the name .... Harold.

"A Harold? A Vampire ? ", I gave a sarcastic chuckle.

"Yes but not only that...His ancestor was a wizard who became a vampire after his death, making him the second Vampire after Harold! And the best thing is that ... He is the future Emperor of Larient  Empire ", Carissa triple checked my hair.

" I see ", I smiled a little.

And then I entered the Imperial Ballroom, escorted by Auran ... An apprentice butler.

The room was filled with so much light but... One thing outshines them ..... That is a boy...

When he looked at me, he gave me an evil smirk, coming forward to the .... Stage or Aisle !?

Even I went up there ...

WHAT IS HAPPENING

I looked over to Auran ..... Even he couldn't interpret the situation.

And then I saw my parents... Along with a couple smiling at both of us: Me and that Boy.

Don't tell me ..... ENGAGEMENT !?

My eyes unconsciously widen at the thought... But sadly this was the truth...

And my thoughts got broken when The Boy presented me with a Ring...

"I Brooklyn Irene Le Harold, swear to Hell that I will never leave Sierra Heinz Le Dume Tatiana' side ....", He said sliding the ring.

I gulped a little. And then got his ring.

"I, Sierra Heinz Le Dume Tatiana swear to Heavens that I will never leave Brooklyn Irene Le Harold's side ...", I got the ring, sliding it onto his slender but good looking finger.

After that the chefs got the birthday cake for us .... All the guests said Happy Birthday to me...

Then my mama, The Current Head Of The Tatianas .... Ordered me to get a wish...

My wish is...

Make me the 3rd most powerful witch of The Tatiana Family!

I blew the candles...

After that, I and Brooklyn were given some minutes alone ...

We decided to walk around the Gardens, filled with Blue Roses...

There was a round marble table and two chairs around it .... in the middle of this Garden. The place we arrived is called 'The Love Circle'.  This was made by the Husband of Sarley Tatiana, to declare his love for her.

Brooklyn pulled a chair for me... I sat on it while seeing him sitting.

I cleared my throat to speak.

"Listen Lord Harold... I know this engagement may seem uncomfortable-", Brooklyn suddenly put his finger on my lips, signalling me to stop whatever I was going to speak.

"Don't worry Lady Tatiana! You know what? Although I don't like how the other girls fall for me... But you are such an interesting girl who made me fall for you at first sight .... Rather an unknown feeling came over me when I first saw you ..... It was as if we were meant to be ", Then he smiled," I think I fell for you ".

The moon graced us with its light... It seemed as time stopped ... His mysterious turquoise eyes were sucking me in...

That sentence was enough to give me a forgotten feeling... This much was forgotten as if it was buried under me for centuries...

I slowly nod my head ...

LE LITTLE TIME SKIP TO BEDTIME

I tucked into the covers ..... thinking about all of the things that happened today...
