After a moment of silence...

"Wha... What do you mean!!?? Why can't I understand what you're saying right now?? Calvin cheated?? With me!!?? Nonsense!!" Even though she seem as she's saying that she's innocent, you can just look at her and know that she feel something. It might have been a guilty conscience or she might have just scared of my family influence. After all, I did ask Calvin for a favor so that she could get into his company and have a better position even though she didn't have an experience. I even have an argument with my eldest brother just so that he would not do something to Lydia behind my back.

While I am thinking about the past, Lydia (that backstabber) hold my hand and told me that as a good friend of mine and Calvin, I should stop fighting and start to ask for forgiveness. She told me that it wouldn't do me good by being stubborn. She also dare to told me that a guy have their own needs and having a couple of women to serve him are a normal thing. To hell with a guy have their needs!! What!! If he did then does it mean that I could do it too?? No right!! I was caught dumbstruck. At that moment, I literally just ignore whatever she said because I really don't want to make a scene.

While the both of us talk (mostly her and I just ignore her presence), the entrance door suddenly open and two guy walk in. A guy with a dashing appearance walk in and to meet with the party host. While he was walking, he look at his right and saw one people talking while one person continue eating the food on the table.

"Sir, isn't that the girl you ask me to investigate??" He look at his right and talk with a low voice. "Mhm. Did you already finish it??" The other guy, Alex speak without looking at the guy beside him. "Not yet sir, since you didn't told me that it was urgent but we'll finish it by tomorrow". They then stop talking and walk until they greet with the host.

After I finish talking with the host, I started conversing with the president of CROWN (Aurelia's grandfather of course but this guy doesn't know). We start talking about work and partnership with both our company. While we talk, he introduced me to the vice president and his wife, his son and daughter-in-law. After we talk for a while, two guy approach our place. They introduced themselves as the director's grandson. The eldest one, Raphael, is the heir of the company while the second one, Raymond is an extremely famous actor and music producer.

The reason why I talked a lot with them is not only because we have a business cooperations, the president is also the old friend of my old man (my grandfather) ever since their time in the army. He asks me to greet him in his place since he is not in the country and travelling with my parents to have fun without him (poor boy🤭)

"Excuse me... Father... Can I go back now... I wanted to rest early" a clear melodic voice interrupt our conversation before I turn my head. There, I saw a beautiful looking young women walking towards us. She look just like an angel, so pure yet so far away. She had that indifferent and hard to approach face that makes me want to uncover and make her bound by my side.

"Interesting..." I murmur to myself when I see that both her brother argue over who will takes her home while her father keep telling her to be careful and don't talk to strangers.

"Father... I am no longer a child. I know how to protect myself. Don't worry" she said with a helpless look. She told her family that her driver are outside before she bud them goodbye.

She just went back without a greet much less even looking at me. Hmm... She look like she's in a bad mood. Well, even her angry face are cute. No, more like she can make it look so seductive. That lips of her... Seem kissable.

When I see uncle Ray, I quickly enter the car and text my mom that I am already inside the car and told her not to worry. Right after I finish texting my mother, I was reminded what happen at the party.

Around half an hour ago... At the party,

When Lydia talk to me, I don't even wanted to spare a glance at her but she keep saying that I couldn't do that and couldn't do this to the point where I just snapped.

And right when I snapped, Calvin suddenly came over towards me. (I even remember what he just said and that makes me even more angry. The nerve...)

"Lea... Lydia... What happen??" The jerk... No... Calvin said before looking at both of us.

"Ummm... I... I just wanted to mend both of your relationship. B... But Lea suddenly got mad all of a sudden and it shock me... Nothing more..." She finish her sentence with some tears drop on the side of her cheek. Luckily that we were on some hidden corner and not a lot of people are around us.

"Lea... How could you. Lydia is a nice girl and she's your best friend. I never know that you're such an evil person" He said that word with a disappointed look on his face. "Evil?? Evil... I just snapped a little and I'm the evil one here. Then if I am an evil person then who are you, the one who betrayed my trust and stab me in the back. Not only that, both of you also engaged in an illicit affair when we are still having our engagement. Then tell me!! If I am the evil one then both of you are devil. Hideous. Disgusting. Trashy" I stressed the last word and inhale some air to calm myself before I continue "I will not forget this. Just so you know"

"Lea..." Calvin said before he wanted to grab my hand

"Stop!! Don't come near me. You're dirty. You didn't even ask me why I suddenly got mad before you point your fingers at me" I look him at the eyes before my eyes darted towards the women who clench her hand at the corner of Calvin's suit. What a wonderful white lotus act. She look like a harmless rabbit with her her tear stained face and glassy eyes. She even make sure that she look like a fragile women trying so hard to contain all of her grief, all of her sorrow.

"Bullshit" I walked away right after.
