Chapter 3

In the club room.

Leo told that I would be working on Clara's story with Kris. He doesn’t know much about our club so Danial thought it is a good way for Kris to start understanding what we do here. Besides Leo put me incharge and I love to know about interesting stories. But I still don’t know how it is going to be with kris staying by my side all the time. I am worried if he is up for all the sneaky stuff.

"So, what should I start with, to help you?" Asked kris. "Meet me when you have PE (Physical Exercise) tomorrow, I heard from Danial that we both have PE at the same time, then we will decide how we will get started" I said. I gave him the notes about Clara that was collected by Mishal.

Mishal was 'the one who was working on that story before us. And he was looking through what we already know about Clara, he seemed pretty interested while reading it.

When I looked at the way Kris was reading the notes he kind of reminded me of myself. I like knowing about others life and was also interested to solve their problems because if I liked the story I hear I want to see how the story ends, not because I care but I like when things are Intense and interesting, That is how I am. Bigger the spice of the story, bigger my interest in it.

When I was looking at him, I kinda felt the same, now that I look at him he is really good looking and cute with perfectly sculpted jawline, soft lips and smooth dark black hair, not bad, I smirked. While I was watching him read, he caught me staring at him. So I turned to Leo to ask some questions about Clara. It felt like I was caught red handed.

Immediately I looked at Leo, "Leo, why is this Clara so important that you said us to find out what happened?" I asked while kris was looking at me. Leo said "well, she is one of the most amazing singer in the choir, and our school has a big chance winning the 'ELV' (Ever loved Voice) inter school competition if she is there in it", but I did not understand what one girl could do.

"Leo, it is not a solo but a group performance, how can one girl make a difference?" I asked. He said that she is our school's best singer so it will increase the chances of winning if she is the lead singer, but right now she is not even in the choir group, she used to be in our choir no matter what till last month.

Leo got to know about it when Mishal was looking into Clara. So now after hearing about her I want to surely know what happened.

Next day

Dalia reminded me that she will come with me to the club room today. And I also accepted to take her in the end of the day. I had PE class at our third hour, And now all I have to do was wait till my PE class get started.

I said "Dalia, I need your help with something. Can you inform our PE teacher that I am not feeling well so I won't be able to come to the class". "But why?, you seem well to me, is something wrong?" she asked, I said " No no, I am good but I have some things to do, so I can't Come". Finally I convinced her to cover for me.

PE time.

Our second period got over and now slowly everyone started to leave the class. After few minutes Kris came to our class. "Stephen Kris the great, what took you so long to come?, was ur secret duty stopping you from coming fast?" I asked in a teasing way. "OK ok. Stop teasing me, I had to think of a way to distract my classmates from seeing me ditching PE" he said as he came close to me and looked me in the eye with a pitiful face acting all cute. "Was it that hard?, think of a way and fast, because we have so much ditching to do" I said while patting his head. "what was that for..?" He asked with wide eyes. " its just that you look like a puppy " I said and moved toward the door and asked if he is not coming, he followed and came.

So now we are going to the choir room to see if someone is there. Hoping we could get some info about the problem. "what if no one is there in the choir room?" asked Kris. I said " they always have practice at the third period, so they will be their ". We saw the lead singer walking out of the choir room as we reached the club room. I was really Curious because She seemed angry and stormed out.
