CHAPTER 5

I don't want any other alpha in my life ever again.

...ALANA'S POV...

I don't know what to feel anymore. The person who tortured and insulted me is my Mate. The person who was holding me is The Alpha Damien. Alpha Damien was a very well known Alpha in the werewolf community. He was like a king without a crown, everyone feared him. His pack is the biggest pack in the whole werewolf community. He kills anyone that threaten's him or his family. His wolf is a golden wolf, which is abnormally very powerful than another wolf. That's why most fear him. They know that he can single handedly take an army. But why was he here? And why was he holding me? And the look on his face? I'm confused. My head started to hurt. My vision started to get blurry and i saw the door of the cabinet being open and a silhouette of a man coming towards me and i blacked out for the third time today.

...DAMIEN'S POV...

Why would she run away? Have i done anything wrong? For the first time in my life i felt nervous of what the other person thinks of me.

She's not a random person, she's our mate. Go to her.

My wolf Dom was yelling inside my head. I was about to follow her but Eric stopped me. "Alpha i don't understand why are you behaving like this?" Eric the moron said. Yep that name suits him. "I don't need to answer to anyone. But if you're also curious then listen to me, she's my Mate" i growled. Everyone gasped. Eric shook his head and laughed. "But that's not possible Alpha. She already has a Mate, but he rejected her on site" Eric said. I was shocked, she had been rejected by her Mate. Who in their right mind would reject a gem like her. But a tiny part of my non existing heart that belongs to my Mate is happy because now Alana can be mine and only mine. "Why did he reject her? And who is he?" i growled. I need to know who inflicted so much pain on my Alana. "It was me" Eric said proudly, with a victorious smirk on his face. What is he so happy about? "Why?" i asked again. "Because she is an Omega. I was the Beta. I did not want people to look at me any other way. I want respect and with that filthy little thing by my side, i would never get it" he growled.

I had enough of it. I have to see if Alana is okay. I stood up and mind link Nate. "Show them what happens when someone disrespects or hurts your Luna" . I walked out of the room not missing the smirk Nate gave me before a slight nod. I followed Mate scent and i reached at a room. I sniff the air and i smell her again, honey and cinnamon but mixed with salty tears. I opened the door and enter. I saw her looking at me through hooded eyes. She was about to say something but she pased out. I ran to her and picked her up. She is as light as a feather. I took her outside and asked a random person to tell me where i could find the pack doctor. He took me to a small clinic thing in the mansion and left. I went inside and the doctor from earlier was beside me in a flash. "What happened ?" she asked looking at Alana with concern and worry in her eyes. I told her everything. "Okay, lay her down on the bed and please wait outside while i check her" she said. And i went outside without any protest. I don't want to delay her treatment because of me. I sat on the chair outside which was not comfortable. I waited for what felt like hours. The doctor came out and i ran towards her. "What happened? Is she okay?" i asked. "Alpha, Alana had an injury on her head when i treated her before and it had not healed properly before. A lot of stress was inflicted on her. Her wolf is weak so it will take time, but she will heal. Just make sure not to stress her out. It can cause serious damage in her brain and she might wake up in an hour or two" she bowed and left. I walked in and sat on a stool beside her bed. She looked pale, weak and unhealthy. "I will make everything better baby, just trust me. I will treat you like a princess. My princess. Just give me a chance and i will make everything better". I promised her.

...ALANA'S POV...

I groan as i wake up from my deep slumber. My head hurts. I try to open my eyes, it takes a lot of effort, but eventually i succeed. The first thing i noticed is that i am sleeping on a bed. I look around and see cream colored walls and ceilings. A girl comes in and i watch her carefully. She is the nurse Shyla, that works with the pack doctor. She hates me. Once i was badly beaten and came to her for some medicine for my pain she gave me hyperalgesia, which apparently increases pain. That was the last time i took any medication. She noticed me awake and gave me a disgusted look like she always does. "Oh so the little bit*h is awake" she said in a little hush tone. I looked at her confused why is she not talking in her usual shrill high pitched annoying voice and gaining the only thing she loves, attention. She shakes her head at me, that's when i noticed a huge figure sleeping on the small sofa beside the bed. I cannot see the face though.

Shyla walks to the man and runs her hand up and down his arm. I tried to speak something but my throat hurts. I see a bottle of water on a table on the side and take it. I gulped down the water and finally feel at ease. I see Shyla getting irritated when the man, okay now I'm also getting irritated by calling him the man i will call him ed. So ed is not waking up and Shyla is whispering something in his ears. I reach out for his hands and touch it, electricity shoots through my hand and Ed jolts awake. He frantically looks around and i finally see his face and i am not thrilled. Alpha Damien is Ed, Ed is Alpha Damien. "aahh.. " i scream when i see him. I am supposed to run away. His eyes widen with worry and concern. I shut my mouth realising what i had done. Then i felt something moving on my toe. I slowly unwrapped myself from the covers, carefully, keeping the eye contact with the Alpha. I looked at my toe and screamed " aahh... spider spider". I closed my eyes and scream more, i hate spiders. Those filthy little thing scares me. A hand was placed on my mouth "shhh princess i will get rid of it for you. Don't be scared okay " a soft voice spoke. I opened my eyes and saw Alpha Damien. I see him a lot. His hand still on my mouth as he bends down to pick up the spider. He holds it between his fingers and tossed it out of the window. I closed my eyes again, the hand was removed from my mouth and i open my eyes again. I saw Alpha Damien very close to my face, smiling like a kid in a candy store with a twenty dollar bill. He looked at me expectantly, and you know what i did, i screamed "aahhh ".

...DAMIEN'S POV...

I watched helplessly as she screamed. i don't know what to do. I have never been in a situation like this before. I usually smile and laugh when others are afraid of me, but i don't want her to feel terrified of me. I hung my head low and sighed dejectedly. I'm useless, i can't even make my Mate feel good. After what felt like hours she quite down. It took a lot of effort, me being pushed in the corner, a couple bottles of chilled water and a few nurses. When she calmed down i cautiously stood beside her. Her eyes were closed but i had a feeling that she was not sleeping. I sat on the chair as quietly as possible. I rubbed my eyes. I have not spoked to Nate yet, so i don't know what happened with Eric the moron. But i have a positive feeling it was not good for him. I felt a hand rest on my shoulder. I turned my head and saw the nurse from before. The dirty look she was giving to my Mate before didn't go unnoticed by me. I looked at her in anger and confusion.

What the hell does she want now?

My wolf Dom yelled in my head.

*My h**ead is already pounding, don't you yell and make it worse Dom*

Honestly, he can be a big pain in the *** sometimes. I remember the nurse looking at me and again i looked up. She was smiling sweetly, too sweetly. I inwardly cringed. I don't like her, not her attitude and the confidence. Absolutely not. I shrugged her hand off my shoulder and her smile flattered a bit. "What the hell do you want?" i whisper yelled at her. I don't want my Mate to be disturbed by some silly creature. "You, i want you baby. I know you want me to. Why are you wasting your time on this thing when we can spend it together?" she said in a seductive tone, and failed miserably. She sounded like someone was choking her. I stood up and faced her. "How dare you? The person sleeping on that bed has a name Alana. She is not a thing. And if you think i will leave a precious gem like her for a good for nothing blonde bimbo like you then you can't be more wrong. I saw the looks you were giving her, i kept my anger in control because i didn't want my alana to be any more afraid of me than she already is. But you crossed that line. Now get out of my sight right now, or i will rip you to shreds literally" i said in a slight raised voice. I would have full on yelled at her but my lana was still resting. The girl ran out of the room.

Are all the members of the pack stupid? First, the slutty Luna, stupid. Then the Alpha, more stupid. And then the nurse, can't get any more stupid. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. That's when i heard it, i frozed on the spot. Turning around i saw my lana and i swear i heard my heart break into pieces. My lana was crying and I don't know why. Most importantly i don't know what to do. I started crying too.
