The Valhard's library

I entered the library with a bit of excitement. And the library was insanely huge. All the book shelf were huge, and were full packed with all kind of books. They were also categorized cleanly. But I was a bit confused. From outside, the library appeared to be a small noble's residence but the inside was so huge like an ocean of books. Then I went to ask about it to the librarian who was in charge of the library. He told me that to preserve and collect large numbers of books, the founder Valhard casted layers of protective and dimensional magic in library. The protective magic has been casted on every book and also on the building and the dimensional magic is casted to expand interrial space. I was shocked. So cool!!! Now my interest in magic is growing bulky by every second.

But I thought it would be better to finish all literary subjects as practical is time consuming. So I started with the history of this empire.

[Corina Empire is what people called this kingdom. Apparently this kingdom is formed by annexing small countries. Before that this empire was a small country known as Otlia. After the war when they defeated the neighboring countries, the king of Otlia changed the name of country from Otlia to Corina Empire. And slowly, the empire become one of major kingdom in terms of military, trade and resources. This war which changed the whole country was known as the great war.

And Valhard was the part of the king's special forces. And after his contribution, the king awarded him with the title of Duke.

This library was just created after the war. Valhard created this library for his descendants. He demanded the king, that except his descendants, nobody can enter the library. And the founder king made a pledge to Valhard.]

It looks like a lot happened in the history. And the founder Valhard have kept in this library. From the start, I knew that the building is very old, after all I have learned about architecture and also geology. The stones used to make this library are older the main residence and the library's design is a bit old. But somehow I felt a bit incomplete. It is the same feeling, when I start learning something and than my brain would tell me to eat more info. But It usually end when a subject is completed. And I have completed the history. Then why my instinct is telling me that something is missing??

I started to think. What is missing?? Think Eric think. Then I found the missing piece

Why Valhard wanted that only his descendants can go in library?? Yes, this is the missing piece. I searched in the book but didn't find any clue. Then I quickly ran to librarian and I asked him if there is any book which is written by Valhard himself. He told

《In the most corner book shelf, there is a book written by Valhard. But that book is a waste. It contains the history of empire but due to his unethical writing style nobody is not able to read it.》

《Thanks.》

I ran quickly and bought the book. As the librarian said this book was dirty and a word was also not written properly but it gives me some weird feeling.  Suddenly when I was flipping over the pages a small paper slip fell. I picked it up some words were written on it. T-E-A-R I-T. Tear it. I tore the paper.

Whoosh!!! A bright light appeared. And suddenly I closed my eyes. I slowly opened my eyes. A bright sunlight was falling on me. And a bald old man with big white moustache was standing in front of me. He was wearing blue robes and was holding a blue coloured wooden wand. I stood up but I felt something soft cotton like feeling beneath my feet. When I looked down to check, I found out that I was standing on a cloud!!! What the hell is this???

I asked the old man

《Where I am, old man??》

《You are on my subconscious space.》

《And who are you?》

《I am Valhard.》

《Hmm. So you are Valhard. What?? You are Valhard ?? 》

My mind was spinning. Valhard?? The founder. The creator of this library. Why the hell he is here???
