Wandering Aqua

Children are raised as studying machines without giving them a chance to think about their very own future. And, I am one such child.

A world where classmates are no longer friends but competitors trying to trample each other. Parents and school force a homogenous idea, which bar the passions, hobbies, and desire for happiness.

People love other people on this globe, are they loved back? Some are, while some are not. And, I am a part of the not-loved back group. Well, at least now if not before.

It leaves quite a few wounds and a hopeless mind.

I remember those days when I was a kid, stuttering and stumbling. Sometimes I wish I could go back to those old days when my beautiful mother narrated white lies to me. Back then, I wouldn’t eat my meals due to a lack of mature taste buds. She would tell me that my fellow friend, the leopard had come while I was asleep to greet me and ask whether I was eating my food properly. I had a lover even at that age of 4, it was the dearest leopard who I imagined, whom only my mother met while I was asleep.

Anyway, the 90th reminder, past is past. My beautiful mother whom I loved a lot is still there, but in memories only. I miss those narrations of her.

I had a fight with my handsome father today. At the end of the loud conversation, he stated a sentence in his thoughts while his lips turned the statement into a question, “Whose son are you?” This was what it was.

Life is such a drag, right? But not to mention, I enjoy dramatic plays a lot. And, I am enjoying being threatened by uncertainty. I wish I was like the water.

Right now, I don’t feel sad that I was kicked out of the house by my parent. The only feeling that prevails in my heart is the feeling of numbness. And, that’s the feeling I enjoy the most. I love this numbness.

Trying to design my destiny in my way is like a house of cards.

I’m living only for one reason, and that’s because I can’t die.

Out of the numbness in my heart, a desire and urge to see my beautiful mother pops up. Without any hesitation, I go to the tallest bridge in my city and stand there adoring the water below me from a distance of 58 meters. While adoring the beautiful waves, I gently put both my feet onto the thin air. After that, while smelling the fresh and amazing fragrance of the thickening mist downwards, I utter the words, “Mother, I am coming to you.”

Not long after that, I felt cool on every part of my body, and my lungs running out of oxygen. My eyes closed on their own and both my voluntary and involuntary actions came to an end, my stiff muscles relaxed to their peak.

“What an amazing experience,” I utter to myself, riding on a killer whale. After that, “What a beautiful fish!” I think to myself looking at it. Not long after I finished exploring the black and white beauty, I thought to myself in utter confusion, “What just happened? Didn’t I di-“ My thoughts were cut by a shark speaking to me, “You’ve finally returned lord. We were waiting for you to rule over the waves again.”

In midst of my absolute incomprehension, I remember the myths about the Water God I read.
