Chapter two

Reva made breakfast for her father and her the morning but she made some warm chicken soup for the nabour as a welcome gift cause she couldn't give anything else.

"Dad your breakfast is ready" Reva say as she gives him his breakfast.

"I'm not hungry Reva" he say she looks at her father in concern.

"if you won't eat i wont eat i just want you to eat that is all you can't drink the whole time" Reva say to her father. He looks at her.

"Please Reva I'm not hungry not now give me some time to heal" he say she sat next to him.

"I'm hurting to but I'm eating i dont want to make mom unhappy if you really want her to be happy up there you should eat please dad" Reva begs her father he looks at her and took a bite of bread.

"If you are done call me let me get you ready for the day" Reva say as she went to take a bath and got ready for the day.

"Reva!" Her father shout. Going to her father's room she saw all his food on his plate was done she felt so proud and gave her father a hug.

"You ate finnally" she tells him he smiles as he realised her.

"Yes yes now help me start my day" he say she smile and went to get his brush and brushed his hair. Soon after that she gave him clothes to wear. Not long after that she helped him brush his teeth and helped him to go downstairs to the couch.

Reva had to help him cause her father struggles to walk as he had a accident after her mother died he was so drunk that time.

"Dad do you need some water?" she ask him as he reads a book.

"No dear I'm all good but tell me one thing do you think I'm a good father to you?" he ask her she looks at him and frowns.

"Why ask that you know you are the best to me that's why I'm here looking after you" Reva say to her father.

"But I'm sick and you can't look after me your hole live you need a live to you need to merry and have kids" Her father say she went to sit next to him and holds his hand.

"Dad i know you feel bad but i feel proud to be your daughter i feel proud cause i have you i feel proud cause i know one day I'm going to make you the most happy person ever and you know what marrige is not that important to me at all at this moment i need to care for you i meed to see your smile and that is. all i want" Reva say as her father had tears in his eyes she grabs him as he cries against Reva shoulder.

A few moments later she made tea for her father and turned to look at him as he was reading his book.

"I'm going out now i made you some sandwiches and your water is there" she say pointing infront of him. He nods.

"Be safe and don't come late i beeter eat to make you happy" He say she laughs and kisses him on his head.

"Love you dad" she say and left the house soon after. Holding the chicken soup she walks over to the nabour and rang the bell. It was to silent in there not even a sound putting the soup on the ground with a note she left after that.

As the day passes and night came she walked pas the nabour and saw her soup was gone and so was the note. they must have taken it she thought. As she went into her house her father sat there watching tv hut then looked at her.

"Reva how did it go?" he ask her she shook her head in disappointment.

"Don't worry dear you will find a job suitable for you soon" he say as she went to sit next to him and layed her head on his shoulder.

"Dad i am bad luck" Reva say to her father.

"You are not bad luck you are good luck do you know how much i love you?" he ask her she turn her head to look at him and shook her head.

He suddenly tickels her as she laughs really hard.

"Dad stop" She tells him as he and she lays back on the couch.

"Stop dad" her father teases her she laughs and puch him on his arm.

"Dad you seem more active then before" Reva tells him he smiles and looks at her.

"That's because those words you said this morning lightened up my day i really am lucky to have you as my daughter so you are not bad luck" He say as she hugs him.

"I'm starving" she say as she stood up. Her father looked at his book again.

She made dinner and soon after they both were eating like pigs. Usually her father does not eat so it felt so different but it felt like she has her old father back again. Doing the dishes and cleaning the house soon after dinner. At the time when she went to bed she was so tired and could barely even open her eyes so she decided to go to bed and have a good night rest.

The next morning.....

"Hi my friend is looking for a maid who can clean his home if you are interested please do call me with this number" a guy say giving her a pamflet. She looks at him.

"Is the work place far away?" she ask him he laughs and points to the new nabour. she looked in shock.

"Oh okay thanks" she say as he nods and went from home to home.

closing the front door her father looks at her. She reads the pamflet and her mouth hung open.

"What happened?" her father ask her she gives him the pamflet as her father reads. he turns to look at her with big eyes.
