***Emily's POV***

I was combing my hair when i saw my mom entering my room,she was very excited for my results that were gonna decide if i will go to NY's most amazing college or not,Everyone is hoping for my result to be good as always ,i was not nervous ,i just wanted to see if Mia (Mia is daughter of Mr shaa who is the 5th mist successful businessman,and Emily's mom works as a maid in her house)

i just wanted to see if Mia shaa was gonna get admission or not its not thati dont want her to get admission,its just that she thinks alot about herself ,she always makes fun of poor but poor she doesent knows that the person who doesent has a mother is the most lonliest and poorest one ..huh why do i care

i heard someone screaming my ne crazily ,i went outside and see Mia's maid there who came to call me, my eyes moves to the clock...i told my mom am leaving to check my result

Mom made me eat curd saying that nowi will definately get pass in my exam ..i sighed and went upstairs , i really dont believe in all these traditions ..i mean eating curd can only help u make ur tastebuds suffer not getting good score..uff poor people who get trapped by all these illusions

i went upstairs and saw Mia on computer she saw me with a smirk as if she was sure i was not gonna pass,i rolled my eyes in mind and went to her ..she gave me a bag and told me about stuff that this bag is carrying

she said"in this bag are my clothes which i dont wear anymore so i thought i should give it to you..and some of my earrings and some necklace..i hope u like it"

I said thankyou to her obviously i cant afford these things..sometimes taking things from her hurts mee,i dont know why but Mia and her stepmom ,i cant stand both

Then we saw our results and as expected i got in ,mia rollwd her eyes and she continued to see her own result while the result was loading she taunted saying"obviously i will score more than you cuz i got proffessional teachers to teach mee.." I smiled saying sure why not

I barely controlled myself from laughing when i saw that she wasnt admitted,she screamed Nooooo...when her step mom i.e.Mrs shaa came in when she got to know that i was admitted but she was not she made me leave and screamed at her saying"How could you after all those professional teachers that taht janitor's daughter got more marks then u ,u ungrateful brat"

i was going to cry when i controlled my tears and ran towards basement i.e.my house ,mom asked me why am i crying and if i didnt get in..i screamed saying"i am not a janitor's daughter ..**I am Emily..🥺🥺i am emily
