waste of time

It was a Saturday morning and Angelene was up early because she wanted to do something. She was preparing a romantic dinner for her and Antonio. She really hoped he would like it because she had planned it a week ago and now she was preparing it.

She spent the whole day decorating her garden and it looked very beautiful. She took a picture of the finished and fully decorated garden and sent it to Adriana. Adriana was never the one to respond to texts so it was always Angelene who had to call her and tell her that she texted something.

She dialed Adriana's number and the phone got answered. A lazy voice answered from the other end of the phone. Angelene chuckled at Adriana whom she had woken up. She knew Adriana lived sleeping in.

"Hello" Adriana said lazily.

"How long can you sleep?" Angelene asked laughing.

"Why'd you wake me up Gelly?" Adriana asked still half asleep.

"I texted you something check it out" Angelene said.

"Alright" she hung up.

Angelene waited for her best friend's reply but never got one. She raised her eyebrow. Just as she was about to give up she got a call from Adriana again. Oh so she wanted to call? that was never a good sign. She definitely was gonna give Angelene a earful about how she shouldn't waste her time on Antonio.

"Hell-" Angelene was cut off Adriana's yelling

"Are you crazy?! you spent so much time and put in so much effort for that guy? he will break your heart again Gelly please don't do this" She pleaded.

"Relax Dria...I want him to know how much I love him...please let me do this" Angelene said with a soft voice. Adriana sighed in disappointment.

"If he tries anything funny...give me a call" she said and hung up.

Angelene laughed at how overprotective her best friend was being. If only she knew it wasn't overprotectiveness, it was being reasonable. She relaxed a little for a few hours. When it was about six pm she decided to call Antonio. She dialed his number.

"hello?" Angelene said softly.

"what is it you are wasting my time" he said impatiently.

"Will you...come over...I have something I wanna show you" she asked reluctantly.

He didn't say anything for a few seconds before finally responding.

"Fine" he said.

"ok an-" he hung up.

He arrived in a short time. He saw the garden and scoffed. He glared at Angelene who looked like an angel. She wore a simple white dress with black details and her normal sneakers. He went closer to her and banged the wall behind her making her flinch.

"you called me here to show me this trash!?" he yelled at her making her tear up.

"I...I thought you'd-" she was cut off by his yelling again.

"you thought what? that I'd like it? I don't have such cheap taste" he yelled and took a few steps back.

"Actually you know what" he said and walked towards the snacks.

He took a cream pie and a bag of chips and walked towards her. Angelene lowered her head and closed her eyes waiting for the worst. He smashed the pie on her face making her gasp. He then opened the bag of chips and threw it on top of her. She still stayed silent.

He laughed out loudly at how she looked while she silently sobbed. He grabbed his phone and started filming. He started mocking her very harshly and grabbed her hair making her yell in pain.

"Don't ever waste my time like this ok?" he threatened her and she nodded. He let go of her hair and walked away.

She broke down and started crying loudly. She cried for more than three hours. She spent so much time and had hoped he would value it but as usual Adriana was right again. She then received a call from Adriana. She wiped her tears away, she didn't want to sound like she had cried. She didn't want Adriana to see her in this pathetic state.

"Hello" she said trying her best not to sound sad. But to her surprise Adriana hung up immediately.

After about half an hour Adriana showed up and hugged her as soon as she saw her. She too started tearing up. Angelene felt horrible for making her cry like this. Damn you Antonio. Adriana took her phone and showed the video that Antonio had taken. It had gone viral.
