4 Episode: "The traitor"

...~ LEAH'S POV ~...

Three weeks have passed after that awful night, and I've started to heal. After that night, Cade and Mandy helped me to stand up again and made me realize how worthy and beautiful I am. I just wished that Cade was my mate, he was nice, sweet, always listened to me, unlike Damien. Even though I wanted Cade to be my mate, I still wanted and wished that Damien would love me.""

Deep down in my heart, I knew he loved me, craved me, wanted me but something was making him avoid me. But then it hit me and I thought, why would he want me he has his '$luts' to satisfy him.

I was walking down the hall in the packhouse, I just finished my 'wolf training' and was about to go to my room and take a refreshing shower. Until I saw Franco, he was my father's trusted follower and warrior.

"Leah you're father wants to see you now on this address!"

he handed me a note in which the address was written which I never heard or went before.

"Alpha Leon said that I should drop you off as you are unaware of some places"

This seems suspicious, my father never lets me go with someone. It's either my driver or me who drives the car. And only Cade and Mandy were allowed to drive and go with me except my family. But I still said'

"Alright, let me take a shower and I'll be downstairs"

I went to my house, as expected no one was there. Mom was doing her luna work, Tristan was busy doing the Alpha duties on behalf of dad as he will soon become the alpha of this pack, and haz would be with her mate ( Alpha Cedric of Teton pack ) she moved out a year ago to live with her mate and be their packs 'luna'. She was also the first one to discover that something was wrong with me and helped me to get back up, I noticed that she was hiding something from me.

Anyways, I showered and wore my red blouse tucked in a black pencil skirt, I left my hair opened and scraped my heels. Usually, I would wear jeans and a t-shirt but today haz invited me to Cedric's birthday party. So after meeting with dad I will go there. When I was about to leave I called dad to confirm that he wanted to see me but he didn't answer the call. I called, Tristan and mom but they were also not picking.

I opened the back door of a black SUV and settled in the backseat. Franco was driving and I asked many questions regarding the sudden meeting my dad wanted but he kept silent and ignored my questions. Something was off, I picked up my phone and called dad but he was not answering.

"Oh... He is in the faerie realm, so there's no point in calling him, he will not pick up ." Franco said with a grin on his face.

"W-what? you sai-". Suddenly, I was feeling weak and dizzy.

"The wolfsbane gas is affecting you earlier than I thought "

" Wh- What wolfsbane gas? Why can't I smell it! and why isn't it affecting you?" I asked while catching my breath.

"It's not affecting me because of a witch's spell and you can't smell it because Maret made this specifically for you"

I was getting dizzy minute by minute. I tried opening the door and windows but it was locked and this wolfsbane was preventing me to shift. A vision of Damien appeared in my mind and I wished that he was here, my wolf called out his name.

"Damien...... D-Damien, where are you? I need you"

I was getting unconscious then suddenly a link opened in my mind. I could feel a lot of emotions inside me and I heard Damien's voice.

"Leah! Is this you? where are you!?"

How can I hear Damien? Only those who are marked by their mate can mind-link. how come we were mind-linking.

"Da... Damien !! help m-me!"

"Leah! what's going on? Are you okay?"

" I..don't k-know. Franco said.... my dad wanted to meet me at the...... bl-black route road. But, I-i .......can't breath...... wol---wolfsbane."

"Leah! Leah! I am coming over there, just han......."

The connection was gone and I got unconscious.
