Episode 4: Outing

Ugh why am I thinking about her she seems familiar. Why? Do I know her? Maybe she could be one of

those girls I hooked up with.

I need to focus on my work. I have lot of things to do.

While jinwoo was thinking a man came into his office. A large open aired office with a desk and some books on the shelves fully painted with yellow colour. From his office a long distance could be seen from the big windows letting fresh air inside.

“Boss we have a new task”, the man said

“What task?”, jinwoo replied

“A kidnapping”

“Whose kidnapping? How much are they offering?”

“Nothing”

“What nothing? How do you think I should go and keep someone hostage for free is it a joke?”

“Boss your father ordered us, so we have to do it”

“But why did someone threaten him?”

“No boss you should talk to chief (Jinwoo’s father is called chief by gang members), he didn’t tell us

anything”

“Okay arrange me a meeting with him as soon as possible”

“Okay boss”

Jinwoo is a mafia leader that does all kinds of illegal stuffs but he has a warm heart from inside. He’s

from a well off family. His father is the chief of the gang and he’s the capo (leader).

His mother loves him from her whole heart and he follows everything his mother says.

Finally the day has come I can go out today with permission and have a lots of fun without jay I’m happy

Waking up early in the morning was not my thing I only woke up early to peak out of house until

everyone was up. But today I’m going out on my own even with permission let’s have fun and keep

going out.

“coz i-i-I on the stars today…shining through the city with a little funk and soul”,

As I was singing my heart out like a squeezed lemon mom called me downstairs “shinae sweetie come

down eat your breakfast jay is also here”

Why is that jerk here today I’ll go on my own even if I never went out my dad made me study everything

including riding, driving, cooking, fighting . I never thought it’ll help me because I thought he’ll never let

me out and when I’ll marry jay I’ll never have any food to cook because that sick omelet likes takeouts

more than a home cooked meal.

But today I’ll show off my driving though I don’t know how I’ll drive but I’ll try my best .

I came down after showering and dressing myself up. To the right side of the stairs my family was sitting

in the lobby with jay including my father.

“You can go out today but remember the maximum time by which you should be back is 7:00 PM got it”

“Got it dad” I replied

“Take the car if you want to go alone and you have your cards right”

“Yes dad I got everything and I can take care of myself”

“But remember if I let you go out doesn’t means you can have leniency in studies remember the 7B’s”

“Yeah dad I remember Books Before Boy’s Because Boys Bring Babies”

“Good girl drive safely”

“ya shinae and everyone why is everyone ignoring me I came here to pick shin up so that we could have

breakfast together and then she could go with me everywhere she wants to go” jay said annoyingly

“I’m going alone and yes as you said I’m ignoring you because you’re my fiancé and you need some

lesson that when you have a girl already you can’t go to another person”

“yes jae you should have taken better care of her ,be relieved that I didn’t break off the engagement.

You need to repent on what you did”, dad said

As they were talking I left the house and sat in the car my brand new car was never used but today I’m

going to race it up. I switched the engine and the car roared to life I stepped on the race and speeded up

I stopped at a luxurious mall maybe with 15 or 16 floors I parked the car and then went inside. The sight

of the mall was memorizing even though it wasn’t my first time because sometimes I came here with mom but today I feels different because it is my first time here alone

I wanted to get gifts for my family because they gave me everything today even let me out today. So I

stopped by the clothes floor to get clothes for my mom and dad. I got a blue t-shirt for my dad and a

shining purple dress for my mother.

Then I thought of shay and Susan (Shinae’s younger brother and sister) and got shoes for both

At the end when I was about to leave I thought of jae and got a pendent for him though he doesn’t like

me but still he let me go and everytime he fulfilled what I said.

I paid and walked to the exit and was about to sit in the car that a hand came from behind and

suffocated me with a drug or what on a cloth that he placed against my mouth.

My vision was getting blurry and milky. I wasn’t even able to see the man’s face and that’s how I fainted
