Part II of chapter 4

“What are you doing!Xiao is out there being attacked!let me go!let me go!” Furling screamed.

“Let Me go!Let me go!let me g-”

The sky lit up with thunder and lightning poured buckets and buckets outside as her screams echoed through the clans ears.The mountains shaked, waters over flowed, people ran for cover and safety.it started to hail, then what looked like a flying serpent emerged from the ground and roared.

Meanwhile Where Xiao is:

“You will never get to my family!I don’t care if this is the last thing I do!”

Xiao wiped blood off her face and stood back up to fight.The attacker blasted her in the chest.Xiao flew across the court into the party room.Everyone gasped at the sight of Xiao covered in blood, cuts.she held her arm, and stood up.

“Out of my way!I must finish what I started!” xiao yelled

Everyone moved out of her way as she limped toward the front, barely able to breath air.She pulled a sword out of someone's sheath.

“DIE YOU FU*KER!”

She charged at The attacker and fought with all of her might.He stabbed her in her leg, but she didn’t even react, instead she said “ I...Will..Kill….You….NOW!”

She stabbed him in the heart and sliced his head off.Then fell to her knees and clutched her stomach as she spit blood and coughed.Then she laughed with joy and spit more

Xiao tried to stand, but ended up falling.She used the sword to stand and then fell once again.her younger sister Pi ran toward her and cried.

“Sis-ter!Don’t die!don’t die...please!waaa,waaa!”

Xiao looked at Pi and said “Don’t worry little Pi, I will be ok. See, I'm awake,I'm awake!”

“Don’t leave me..ok?” sniffled Pi.

Out of a sudden the serpent slithers toward Xiao and Pi.People screamed and ran as they were pushed out of the way.Guards were no use either. Fieling was trying to see Xiao only to get pushed out of the building over,and over.The silver serpent kept going toward Xiao.

“I’m scared, sister!” said Pi

“I will protect you, ok? See that stone?”

“Y-yeah”

“Go over and hide behind it.Ok?”

“O-ok”

Xiao hugged Pi and then pushed her toward the stone.Pi made her way to the stone and stayed out of the sight of the serpent.The serpent was now infront of Xiao.its warm breath smelled of earth and water, but it didn’t have a sign of dirt, only Smooth,slick,soft silver and white scales.It picked Xiao up, and flew her to the hole it came from.it slitherd through the air like a snake, and held Xiao lightly, but firm.it dove down into the hole.When they reached the ground, it was like a whole new world.Walls

Were decorated with vines,waterfalls, and flowers.The ground was filled with warmth, even though it was green jade.In the middle of the room was a giant throne.It was made of hade, crystals, and diamonds.The serpent sat Xiao right on the throne, then spoke in a heart warming vice.

“I am Shitatari, guardian and lover  dragon of the Lotus goddess.”

“I think you made a mistake, I'm not a goddess of the lotus!”

“I make no mistakes.You have a light green lotus on your back, which means you are my partner and lover.”

“Lover?How could that be? I am supposed to marry one of the clan princes!”

The silver serpent closed its eyes and glowed gold.Then turned into the most handsome man Xiao had ever seen. He had green eyes, snow white hair,paper colored skin, and rosey cheeks.He looked about 31. He wore black and silver, with boots.

“See, I am a prince of a clan.The Gods clan, so now, do you believe?”

“I...don’t know...just a second ago you were a well crafted dragon.”

“Yes, this is the power of me, a dragon god.Does that make scents?”

“No, not at all.but, how do you know I have a lotus on my back, were you stalking me?”

“ When you were born , I was created and told to look for a lotus on a person’s back-”

“-And I saw the green lotus on your back when you fought the attacker.”

“Oh.So what should I call you?”

“Shitatari, or lotus.”

“Ok lotus, who made you? And why am I a goddess?”

“I was made by the last emperor of the Gods Clan”

“I’ve never heard of the Gods clan, was it destroyed?”

“Yes, in the great Gods Hakai war, the only gods that were left were-, -Wind,water,cloud,mountain, and dragon.”

“Oh, that makes scents.And how long have you been living here?Doesn’t seem like a home for a dragon god”

“I’ve lived here for 12 years.An it’s warmer than a cave, or house.”

“When can I go back?To the wind clan?”

“When your wound heals.After that I can introduce myself to your parents and family”

“Get ready to get attacked then.” Xiao mumbled

Lotus walked into a different room.Xiao layed on the floor and held her stabbed stomach.She lifted her shirt enuf to see how deep it was.It didn’t go deep enough to hit anything important.She sat up and held her face in her hands.Lotus walked in, and saw scars on Xiao’s back.There was a X on her right shoulder, and what looked like whip marks over her back.

“What are you looking at,lotus?”
