Chapter 01: Problems after being Isekai (01)

A blonde woman was laying on a magnificent bed. Her slender fingers twitch as her eyes slowly opened. The first thing she saw was the ceiling made of marble. Her blue confused eyes stare at the ceiling wondering if she was seeing things.

“Young lady, you're finally awake! Thank goodness!”

The voice from the unfamiliar young woman beside her echoed in her head.

‘Was she referring to me as young lady?’

The blonde woman didn't show the confusion in her eyes as she slowly got up from the bed and look around. Everything, from smallest to largest details are all unfamiliar to her.

‘Did I get isekai?’

For her, Victoria, a person who always reading isekai romance novels and had been wanting to get isekai, this is a blessing for her. For someone like her who want to escape from the cruel and unfair world getting isekai or by means of hitting a truck is her best options.

“Young lady Luxiana, don't move much you have just woken up.”

The blonde woman instantly froze upon hearing that name, she was certain that she heard the maid calling her Luxiana. She look at the servant in front of her from head to toe as if she was inspecting every angle of her.

Brown eyes, short curly brown hair and freckles on her face. Someone who always look after the side character villainess who is madly in love to the first prince. The one who dies first in the novel because of the stupidity of her lady.

‘What the hell, so I became Luxiana the stupid villainess in the novel?’

Instead of being shock, Luxiana, no, Victoria quickly analyzed everything around her. She thought about the family Ginemoux, the family of Luxiana Ginemoux. Her father, one of the 4 pillar of the empire, her step mother who is always supporting her, her elder brother and younger sister and younger brother. She thought all of the people of Ginemoux household who dies in the hand of the first prince.

“Atie, answer all of my questions without asking.” she quickly processing all of the events happened in the novel.

“My name is Luxiana Ginemoux, right? What happened to me? What is the date right now? And more importantly is the first prince is here or not?” she asked all of the main questions floating in her head.

Atie looks surprise by the sudden questions her young lady asking but she still answered them all in a proper way.

“Yes, my lady, your name is Luxiana Ginemoux. You were drowned in the lake because the first prince push you and you are unconscious for a whole week. As for the date, today is the fourth month day one hundred four of Rochelieu. And the first prince is here—”

Luxiana suddenly stand up before Atie finished what she had to say. She quickly headed to the door but before she could even open the door a hand suddenly grab her arm.

“My lady, please restrain yourself! You just woke up and it is not good to see the first prince today.”

“But I need to see him right away. Atie, bring something to cover my dress and lead the way to where the first prince is.” Luxiana looked at Atie with seriousness. The gaze in Luxiana's eyes was enough for Atie to understand what the young lady wants.

Atie quickly moves, she pick up the blanket and cover it around Luxiana. She then opened the door without saying anything and just gesture for the young lady to follow her.

Soon enough they are in front of the double wooden door. Luxiana look at the door before closing her eyes and took a deep breath.

“Atie, wait here for me.” Atie didn't said anything and just kept her head down as Luxiana opened the door.

As she opened it the people inside the room turned to look at her. Her gaze moves from left to right, making eye contact with each person inside the room.

“Lux! Oh darling, why are you here dressed like that?” her step mother came quickly to cover her up.

“Quickly and find a blanket for the young lady!” she ordered the servants. Some servants left the room in order to find a blanket for the young lady.

‘Come to think of it. Luxiana was really spoiled by her family.’

“I just woke up and heard that the first prince was here so I rush going in here not minding what I wore.” Luxiana casually answered. She is allowed to talk like this because she was spoiled.

“Miss Luxiana rush here to see me in this state? This is unexpected see.” Luxiana made eye contact to the first prince.

Like what the novel said, the first prince is a very charming man with golden eyes and blue hair. He got right physique and that enchanting smile of his.

‘Forget charming he is just another lunatic who is crazily in love with the female lead. The one who killed and made the Ginemoux household a living hell.’

Luxiana glared at the first prince for a split second before returning her gaze to normal. She then bow down a bit with her right hand on top of her left chest.

“Greetings, your highness, I don't know what to do knowing you came all the way here. Please pardon me for my rudeness.”

Calm and collected. Show him that you are calm while confronting and explaining that I'm not the one who pushed the eight princess in the lake.

‘I wanna punch him in the face, so annoying.’

“Miss Luxiana, why are you acting so modest today?” he asked. Luxiana just stared at him without saying anything.

The first Prince was always like this to Luxiana. Whether Luxiana act like a modest noble lady or a crazy villainess, he always asking her as if he didn't like her acting like those.

“Instead of asking me why I am being modest. First prince, I supposed you're here to apologize what you've done to me?” the face of the first prince turned odd before giving Luxiana a cold stare. Luxiana would flinch seeing that cold stare of his but not Victoria.

After suffering from the unfair world she once lived in, she became a brave woman enduring all of the different stares she get from the people around her in order to live. But Luxiana can't stand this cold stare and prying eyes of the people, she hated it. She just want everybody to stare at her with admiration and she only want to received a recognition and a bit of love from the first prince. Unfortunately, the first prince never recognize her and he turned her into a villainess.

“Apologize? Aren't you the one who's at fault here?” that cold tone of his voice sends a thousand shivers down Luxiana's spine.

‘This punk's voice is scary. No wonder Luxiana always said sorry to others even it is not her fault.’

“I'm afraid, I'm not the one who's at fault here.” Luxiana smiled faintly while the first prince stare at her with confusion.

At that time her father, the current marquis of Ginemoux household approach Luxiana and put a hand above her daughter's shoulder.

“What do you mean by saying that, Luxiana?” Luxiana's father, Arthur Ginemoux, this man who's already in his 40's but look like 30's is truly a handsome man like what the novel said.

‘Even me, Victoria, would choose a daddy like him than the main characters in this world.’

“Father, believe me or not I didn't push the eight princess like what other said.”

“Miss Luxiana, saying lies won't help your situation.”

‘This bastard! Wait till the day I can finally smack you in the head!’

Luxiana stared at the first prince while thinking what to say, how to calmly say the things she want to say without cursing or yelling at the first prince. The first prince is getting to her nerves.

‘I just woke in a different world and I already need to solve a big problem like this. What the hell.’

Luxiana sat down on the couch and crossed her legs. She smiled when she made eye contact with the first prince. But the words came out of her mouth can make someone frown.

“First prince, it seems like you really hate me to the core, aren't you?” she asked in a cheerful tone. Everybody inside the room froze and look at Luxiana, they can't believe what she just said. Unfortunately, Luxiana wasn't done speaking yet.

“Whatever I do or even I didn't do anything you always blame me, right? Do you perhaps have a grudge against me, your highness?”

She was still speaking in a cheerful way. Luxiana was always the one who suffers in the end. Victoria doesn't found this to be entertaining when she was reading the novel and she pity Luxiana for being naive.

“Miss Luxiana—”

“Your accusation against me are lacking of evidence, first prince. You are not sure that I was the one who pushed the eight princess in the lake. And aren't you satisfied for pushing me in the lake the last time?”

“Young lady Luxiana, mind your words in front of the first prince.”

Luxiana made eye contact with the guard who interrupt her. The smile across her lips fades and there was only coldness in her eyes as she stared at the guard. The guard slightly flinch before bowing down.

“I…”

“Luxiana, you should rest now. Your body is still weak, you might get sick.” Luxiana's father approach her and gently smiled.

“Your father will take care of the matters here.”

“That's right, I will walk you to your room to make sure that you get there safely.” Luxiana's step mother lightly patted her shoulder.

‘Luxiana, you're really lucky to have a lover father and caring step mother.’

While she was thinking that the first prince was observing her. Thinking about the behavior he witnessed from Luxiana for the very first time.

‘She always admit mistakes even though she wasn't at fault everytime I was present at the scene and acting weak in front of me when she always cause troubles when I'm not present.’

The first prince didn't hate nor have grudge at Luxiana until the lake incident. He just found her to be so pathetic and for being a two faced woman. So he ignore her the whole time. But today, the woman who always act weak in front of her showed a different attitude.

“I still have to say before I leave.” Luxiana turned to face the first prince.

“Your highness, I'm not going to apologize or admit the mistakes that you are accusing me. Because I didn't do it.” she emphasize the words at the end. She stood up and slightly bow down in front if the first prince.

“Then, if you'll excuse me I'm going to leave.” for the last time she made eye contact with the first prince before she left the room.
