Unbelievable

Ella left him standing there and walked towards her house which was not far from the school... but he kept trailing behind her.She decided not to say a word....until she realized that he was actually her next door neighbour. Great,she thought in her heart.Now they weren't just classmates,nor were they partners they were also neighbours.

As she was about to enter her mansion he waved and smiled at her.She nodded and quickly entered her house.

" What's chasing you?" their house help whom she called Aunt Nel asked

" Nothing." Ella said and raced upstairs. She freshened up and was styling her hair when Aunt Nel came in with a tray of food.Ella smiled,what more could she have other this wonderful woman. "Oh aunt,you shouldn't have"

I stood to collect the tray of salad from her. Ella really loved salads and Aunt Nel is the perfect one to make it.She never mixes it wit the cream.Ella loves it just like that.

"Well your favorite" Aunt Nel said

" How'd you know that Aunt?" Ella asked but Aunt Nel just smiled and gazed out the winfow. Ella wondered why she was smiling while looking through the window... she looked back but no one was there,nothing was there too.

"I'll leave you to your food now" Aunt Nel said and Ella agreed.

"Aunt." Ella called

"Just call me Nelly...hm?"

"Uhm Aunt Nel?"

"No,that makes me feel to old.Am not up to thirty you know"

"Oh...I didn't"

Aunt Nel smiled broadly again "Enjoy your food" she said before leaving. Ella was glad she had someone like Aunt Nel.Her own mother doesn't even treat her like she deserves.She couldn't even believe she couldn't wash a common toilet.. she sighed.If her mother had time for her...maybe things would not have been like this. She'd meet Aunt Nel to teach her house chores...she decided and munched the salad.

"Humm..yummy." She hadn't gone halfway when she heard someone cough.She dropped her spoon immediately. Her heart began to race .She was immediately grateful for her long hair because it blocked her face from the window where the sound had come from.She began to think of ghosts stories that Aunt Nel had told her when she was little. But ghosts don't come by now, Ella thought, this was just four in the evening.Ugh..ugh..uh..uh.The sound came again.She mustered up courage.Holding the spoon so hard,she stood up with so much speed to hit whatever it was.

"Hey,hey,it's me okay. No one else." Ryan jumped in the riom, looking startled while Ella started screaming.Her which she'd been trying to style got rough and strands leaned in her face.She dropped the spoon.

"You!"

"Yeah.Me.Am sorry I frightened you" Ella ran her hands through her hair and sat on a chair.He was wearing a jean and a tee shirt.He bounced comfortably on the bed.

"Wow, nice room"

"thanks"

"Sorry for sneaking in"

"You shouldn't have.If my parents were around they'd think I was having an..." her words trailed off.

"An affair... how thoughtful" he smiled and she smiled back.

"You know... you're beautiful"

Ella didn't fall for that although she appreciated that it was coming from him.

"I hope Nora or Camilla would not but rest in here any minute"

Ryan laughed.Then he stood and walked to her,she stood and also began to draw further and when he stopped,she stopped also

"No worries...they wouldn't." he assured her and she was quick to reply

"What makes you say so?"

"Because I have broken up with her"

Ella sat back on her chair and grabbed the plate of salad.

"Wow" she exclaimed as she munched the salad.

"Wow?" he expected to show some kind of reaction.

"Yeah,wow" she repeated

"Didnt even bother to ask why?"

He noticed that she wasn't giving him an attention. She focused on her salad.

"Like as if I care" she muttered in response. It stunged his heart.He sat back on the bed...feeling God knows what.She looked up at him and their eyes met.Her grey eyes searched his hazel eyes for answers. Then she stood and walked slowly to him.

"Look...I didn't mean to hurt you.Am sorry" her voice was but a whisper.He held her hand in his,he felt her shiver.He looked into her eyes and said sincerely.

"I have no idea why am being prejudiced by one person I thought will understand me."

She withdrew her hand and turned making her gown swirl.

"Am not prejudicing you okay? I just don't know what or who to believe.To me,you seem like who they really term you to be.I don't know am trying so hard to get away,to stay away but I feel myself coming so closer."

Ryan came and stood in front of her.

"For the fact that you're contemplating who to believe,I know that deep down you know am not what they say I am."

She smiled and then started laughing.

"You seem to always find a way"

"Yeah... for you" she stopped smiling and was looking deep into his eyes.Ryan had never seen anyone as beautiful.Until the door gave way and Stella stood looking furiously at....what was her name anyway? Ryan realised that he didn't even know her name.

"You!" Stella matched towards Ella and slapped her across the face

"What's your problem?" Ella asked

"My problem? or yours? I told you to stay away from him."

"Well,excuse me.I have the right to see whoever I want to see and it's none of your business!" Ella retorted and Stella became furious the more.

"Its my business because I love him,Ella.No matter how much you try,you can't have him because you're nothing close to what he wants or likes." Stella pointed a finger at her twin sister.

"Stop being insecure.I do not love him"

"Then what was he doing here with you? Am pretty sure he's been here for hours and the fact remains that he didn't come in through the door! he sneaked in...how would you explain that?"

"If he sneaked in what's your problem with that?" Ella fired back because she really could not understand

"He's my boyfriend,Ella. And am ready to fight any girl for him," she stepped closer and said to her face. ",even if it's you"
