Audience 1: Oh it's Pride Month…….

Roo : Yup. And FOR this topic I had to research over the internet and ask my friends what it is all about ! 

So let's talk about it.

Audience 2 : *murmur* What is this LGBTQ ? And what Pride month ?

Roo : About “ LGBTQ ” in detail, When you feel attracted to someone, either it's opposite or same sex....

Audience 2 : *stares in a daze confused*

Roo : Well let me elaborate it…...

If someone is attracted to the opposite gender like man and woman they are called/known as straight.

If a Girl is attracted to another girl, she is Lesbian.

If a Boy is attracted to the same gender, say another boy. He is Gay.

If a Boy/Girl is attracted to both girl or boy, it's knows as Bisexual.

Transgender people are whose gender identity is different from the gender they were thought to be at birth. 

Audience : *crowd passing comments* hmm, interesting, oooh, i see,........

Roo : *cough cough* So in my opinion what you are or who you like ? either the same sex or opposite sex.

 If you love someone you need to express it..

You don’t have to hide your identity in this society ..

Love simply means to express, respect yourself and others, not to lose or hide your identity.

" The true essence of love is accepting yourself for who you are !  "

NOW….WHAT IS PRIDE MONTH 🏳️‍🌈 ?..

Pride month celebrates the “ LGBTQ ” ( Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer )  community and promotes their equality, affirmation, self-love, dignity and self respect but most importantly show or express their love freely.

In 2021 pride month is celebrated for the whole month of June 🏳️‍🌈. 

Did you know they have a flag for pride month, which symbolizes and has the meaning of Pride month ?

Audience : *in chorus* rainbow flag ?….

Roo : The rainbow color 🌈 in the flag represents the diversity of gays and lesbians around the world. The original has 8 colors which represent pride month…. 

Baker (is the first person, who thought and made the rainbow flag for LGBTQ community) saw the rainbow as a natural flag from the sky, so he adopted 8 colors for the stripes, with each color meaning :

 Hot pink for sex,

 Red for life,

 Orange for healing,

 Yellow for sunlight,

 Green for nature,

 Turquoise for art,

Indigo for harmony,

Violet for spirit
