"Indeed, sir! That golden-yellow card is called the diamond card, issued by UP Bank, a subsidiary of CUP, headquartered in a major Asian city."
"The card can be used at approximately 1,700 companies and is accepted in 162 countries."
"There are no limits on the amount of withdrawals or spending when using the card."
"The card can also be used for payment at millions of merchants, and for ATM cash withdrawals, in 141 countries worldwide."
Ivory paused for a moment to catch her breath, then continued her explanation.
"The second card is commonly referred to as the black card. It is issued by Amex Bank."
"Initially, it functioned solely as a charge card. But for you, sir, there is a special exception."
"In this country, there are only three individuals who possess the diamond card. One of them is you, sir."
"Meanwhile, there are only five holders of the black card, and their balances all differ."
"The cardholder with the largest balance is you, sir," said Ivory, concluding her explanation.
There was a brief silence.
"It turns out I am descended from wealth," Dion muttered softly, but it was overheard by Ivory.
"Indeed, young master! You are the sole heir of the Birawa family. Sir, you are the only grandson of the great sir who is still alive."
"Sir, the story is a long one. But from my story, you can deduce for yourself who you really are."
"The great sir earnestly hopes to meet you. But currently, his health no longer allows him to travel far."
"So who runs the family company?" Dion inquired curiously.
"Up to now, the Birawa Group empire has been managed by me and my cousin, Evan Sanders. He serves as general manager there. The two of us are trusted by Mr. Birawa himself."
"Just as a reminder, sir. The Birawa Group is a multi-business corporation operating in various fields."
"These include mining – gold, coal, nickel, and petroleum. There's banking, property, trade in goods and services, retail, hotels, hospitals, restaurants, city development, land, sea and air transportation, as well as entertainment and much more."
"The Birawa Group owns hundreds of subsidiaries, scatter across major cities and countries."
"In city B alone, there are 10 subsidiaries operating in various fields."
"Sir can verify this later one by one," Ivory said casually.
"In city B, certainly you must have heard of The Golden City. It's a city developed by the great Mr. Birawa for the young master. It's not far from this city."
"Within it, there are five large restaurants and a dozen smaller eateries. One of the most exclusive ones, not just anyone can enter, is the Top Sky Restaurant."
"There are also four 5-star hotels and numerous lower-rated hotels. There are offices, thousands of shops for rent, and there are also hundreds of well-known stores selling various world-class products under the young master's name."
"In that city, there is also a famous villa. Only certain people can stay there."
"This villa is situated on a serene hill with a direct view of the city, the sea, and a green hilly landscape."
"One of the largest and most magnificent villas, located in the midst of others, spanning 2,500 square meters, with a plot of land of about 6,000 square meters, belongs to the young master Birawa."
"The villa faces east, directly overlooking the city center. To its right, it overlooks the clear blue sea and is equipped with excellent facilities."
"It can be said that the entire city and its buildings belong to the young master. Because the ownership shares are held 100% by you and in your own name."
"For more details. Please, Sir, visit your grandfather in city J. Coincidentally, he has been longing to see you, after over a decade of your absence," Ivory concluded her remarks.
Dion was, of course, stunned to hear all of this. To him, it sounded like a fairy tale.
After thinking for a long while, Dion began to recall his identity, but it still remained vague, as all his earlier memories had not yet fully recovered.
"Sir, if you would allow. I would like to see the necklace you are wearing," Ivory requested.
"Oh, of course. But wait! Why do you want to see it?" Dion asked, hesitant.
"Please allow me. Afterward, I will return it," replied Ivory calmly.
Dion hastily removed the necklace he had been wearing and handed it to Ivory. He simply trusted whatever she was about to do.
While Ivory examined the necklace, Dion's thoughts wandered far and wide, reaching back to the memories of when he was still married to Jasmine.
After a short while, as Ivory examined Dion's necklace, she took out a small box from her bag, intricately carved from teak wood, and opened it. Shortly afterward, she removed its content.
Dion was startled by what he saw. A necklace similar to his came out of the wooden box.
Ivory quickly pressed a small button on each side of the necklaces. Suddenly, the ends of both necklaces opened, and Ivory joined them together.
"Perfect!" exclaimed Ivory, pleased when the two necklace parts connected, revealing a name that had long been a mystery.
"This confirms my suspicions, and my search has not been in vain," Ivory thought gleefully.
"Young master Dion Mahesa Birawa. The only son of Mr. Bima Birawa and Mrs. Ambarwati, the grandson of the great Mr. Mahesa Birawa. At last, I have found you."
"What! So, I have a family name too? I thought it was just Dion," Dion exclaimed, amazed.
"Yes, sir! Your last name is Mahesa Birawa, which is your grandfather's name."
"I still don't understand all of this. Give me time," responded Dion, confused.
"I will accompany you whenever you need, as I have been tasked to be your companion," Ivory replied calmly, then posed a question.
"May I know, who else has seen that necklace, sir?" inquired Ivory, concerned.
"Just Grandfather Wolf. But now he has passed away."
"What about your wife?"
"We've divorced. She's now my ex."
"Oh, forgive me, sir."
"My ex-wife never knew that I had this necklace all along."
"Why is that?"
"Well, it's because for over a year of marriage, Jasmine never allowed Dion to touch her. Thus, in truth, their marriage existed only on paper and was nothing more than a status."
Moreover, Dion was very secretive to Jasmine. He rarely communicated with her on a personal level. They didn't even sleep in the same room.
Jasmine slept in a large, beautiful bedroom. While Dion slept in a spare room, suitable to be called a storeroom.
That was the reality of what happened and what Dion went through.
"With this, there is no more doubt about your identity."
"Your distinguished name will be restored today, and recorded in the family of the great Mr. Mahesa Birawa as the legitimate sole heir to the Birawa family business."
"Welcome back, young master," Ivory said, bowing respectfully.
"Honestly, I'm still unable to accept this reality, Miss Sanders," Dion was still in denial about his identity.
"Young master, don't call me miss. I am your subordinate, your personal assistant. It is not fitting for me to receive that honor. So please, just call me Ivory or by my family name Sanders," Ivory demurred.
"Very well, from now on, I will call you Ivo. Is that agreeable?" Dion asked with a smile.
"As you wish, sir," answered Ivory, shyly continuing,
"Sir, you must be hungry and thirsty. Let's dine at a restaurant not far from here," Ivory offered frankly.
Without responding yes or no, Dion stood up from his seat and prepared to head to the restaurant.
"Sir! Do you intend to walk? The restaurant is about 800 meters away. Are you certain?"
"So...?" Dion asked, puzzled.
