(Third person's pov)

Jungkook didn't know what caused him to give in so easily to another one of his supposed best friend's shits. Yet, there he was, one leg against a wall and the tip of a cigarette secured between his lips.

"I still can't believe you banged that little mother fucking nerd..." Chan scoffed sarcastically. He himself exhaled a puff of smoke, seemingly amused by the way his younger friend had agreed to smoke with him after much pestering when he never did in the past. Being the shameless individuals they were, they were pressed against the school's wall, doing such things for the public eye to see.

"Can we not talk about this?" The younger asked. Clearly, he wasn't amused. He didn't seem like he wanted to smoke - but again, he didn't want to. Chanmin had somehow coerced him into doing it and being the gullible idiot he was, he gave in.

He had to get his mind off a lot of things and the act of smoking appeared to have been a plausible escapism route.

"Come on Jeon JK... Just tell me how he feels!"

The elder was being persistent; as always. He wouldn't drop the matter anytime soon.

"And how was it different than with girls? What did all the girls in this school lack that you had to go seek into that stuck up asshole? Does it feel that good? I think it's gross personally."

Maybe it was the tobacco stick or maybe it was the fact that he was extremely tired, but the truth ended up slipping past the brunette's lips.

"Taehyung was special."

To his relief, Chan paid no heed to him. He was rather focused on calling Taehyung all sort of mean names.

If his two other friends caught the slightest glimpse of what their youngest gang member was doing, he wouldn't be able to see daylight anytime soon. Already, they condemned what he had inflicted to the nerd, so this was highly against their principles. They didn't care about Chan's addiction for the latter was a desperate case and not exactly close to them. Jungkook however was another story.

Hoseok and Jungkook had been roommates during their first few years of scolarity. Namjoon was the guy whose dorm was next to theirs and that was precisely how their friendship blossomed. The eldest entered the group a little while later, in a totally unexpected way. The brunette was bunking a class for the first time of his life and Chan so happened to have been bunking too. Jungkook hadn't yet been the bad boy everyone knew; rather timid and reserved. He must have been 14 and the other was 16. Gradually, the two started hanging out more often until Chanmin became a permanent member of their squad even though the two redheads were against the idea of having such a person around their youngest best friend. Nevertheless, a sort of attachment still managed to develop. The eldest had his qualities hidden underneath sorrow and despair.

The silver-haired guy was one of the reasons why they had all grown distant and had changed. He hasn't had the best influence on Jungkook and the fact that the latter was letting himself get dragged to the negative side wasn't at all helping his case. Of course; puberty kicked in and girls (and boys) entered the frame, causing them to fall further apart. Namjoon was the only one who kept on reminding his juvenile friend that he allowed himself to get manipulated way too often.

Ironically, at the end of the day, it's all about manipulations and mind games. Chan did it to Jungkook and now the latter was doing something similar to Taehyung. A vicious cycle it seemed.

"I mean like... He's ugly Jeon. He wears glasses and disgusting baggy clothes."

The youngest didn't have any time to respond before another shit was coming out of the other's mouth.

"Oh my gosh, don't tell me you have a kink for banging ugly people! I mean, I know there's a category like that on porn websites but I never knew this was a real thing!"

Jungkook choked on his cigarette. He didn't know why he felt a sudden surge of anger upon hearing his friend refer to the nerd as being unattractive. For ****'s sake, was he the only one who found the shy boy to be critically stunning?

"Shut the **** up apefucker. He's not ugly." He responded coldly. His cigarette was almost done and he was glad it was so.

He decided that he hated smoking. It felt like some really weird vapour entered your throat, burnt the hell out of it before you had to furnish effort to expel it out; without mentioning that you had to look cool and chill while doing it when in reality, your lungs were collapsing.

"Whoa, calm down there. Excuse me for being honest about that little ***** of yours." Chan responded sarcastically.

The brown-haired male wanted to beat the heck out of the other fellow. For what? He didn't know. He had no right to dislike it when people referred to Taehyung as being a wench when it was exactly how he had portrayed him in public.

Instead of letting out his disapproval of the term employed, he merely scoffed. At this point, his cancer stick was done. He threw it down before stomping on it. Chanmin was quick to do the same with his.

"Want another one?" The aforementioned chap asked.

Jungkook lost no time in shaking his head. There was no way he was torturing himself like that again. If ever he wanted to indulge in such behaviour, there were other things which he could do but smoking was out of question.

He watched as the guy whose eyes were already very bloodshot, removed another cig for himself. He wondered whether his eyes looked the same and whether his body odour gave away the action he had been doing. Jungkook made a mental note to take a bath before meeting his other two friends for dinner.

At the end, Chan ended up smoking thrice while the second male stood impassively next to him on the road. They didn't discuss much, to the younger's relief. He secretly knew that each topic of conversation would end up leading them to Taehyung.

The sun was setting, highlighting the sky of its usual orange rays. It was a beautiful picture for those who didn't have a beautiful life. It was during those moments of the day, when nature shown its utmost power and how it eventually reigns over man, that each individual willing to pause their chaotic days in order to watch the marvelous panoramic view is made to feel alive.

Still, Jungkook felt empty inside no matter what he looked at. Except when it concerned the dweeb.

But all the screwing until their mind exploded from strong orgasms had halted.

Taehyung had fucked up and he deserved whatever had been inflicted to him; didn't him?

Then why was Jungkook starting to regret his actions? This was ridiculous. He was being a lame empathetic person when he never was in the past. His alter ego was giving him a really hard time.

It was only when the sun had almost disappeared in the sky that the pair concluded upon returning back. The afternoon was chilly and for once, a relaxing breeze was blowing. It made up for the blazing hot weather that was prominent the entire day. Their hair whirled in all sort of directions as they passed by a few students inside the premises.

Of course everybody knew them - even more these days following the bisexuality news that ran about everywhere.

"Dude that sucks, what if people start thinking we're a thing now?" The eldest pointed out as they reached the central dormitory frame.

"What do you mean?" The other questioned as he buried his hands into his pockets.

"I mean, now that everyone knows you're bi... People might start thinking we... You know..."

"We what? ****?"

Chanmin nodded embarrassingly.

"Is that such a big deal?" The younger asked. A part of him expected such a reaction and yet he couldn't help but feel hurt about the lack of support. It was stronger than him, he had to compare Chan's reaction with the one of Namjoon and Hoseok. While the eldest was more worried about the stake of his asshole of a reputation, the two others didn't even mention about the bisexual part. What mattered for them was the fact that Jungkook had ruined someone's life in the most disgusting way possible.

"Are you kidding me? I'm straight Jeon. I don't want my reputation ruined because of you and your-"

"Excuse me!"

Their conversation was cut off by a masculine voice to their left. It was the security guard - one who was new and didn't know about the shits that frequently went down in the boys' dorms.

The duo halted and turned to look at him. Pissed was written all over their faces and the man gulped loudly. The act confirmed the fact that he was definitely a newbie.

"There's a notice on the wall which your rector has asked me to make sure each and every student has thoroughly read before entering." He said while pointing at a yellowish paper on the notice board near the entrance.

The two males stepped closer. However, only Jungkook made sure to read the long message written on it.

Dear students,

This is to inform you that as from tomorrow, there will be slight changes concerning room assignments for all the blocks. Blocks C and D will be renovated and any student currently living there will have to pack up and shift next morning between 06:00A.M and 09:00A.M. Anyone not abiding will get in serious trouble. You may find attached to this document a list of students' names who will imperatively have to move. Those living in blocks A and B are very likely to get a new roommate. I hope and pray there will be no serious issues during this temporary shift. Note that any unfriendly, rude and impolite behaviour will not be tolerated.

Mr Park's signature ended the letter. Behind was a long list of names and surnames and Jungkook knew his name wouldn't be found there; he lived in block A. Nonetheless, he knew there was a probably he would end up getting a roommate and concluded it would be no harm to check. It was definitely not like he wanted to know which room was a certain individual  assigned to.

He skipped the first few rooms rapidly, knowing that his didn't carry a small number.

Room number 45... Room number 46... Room number 48... Room number 52...

The male's room number was 50 and the list confirmed it - he wouldn't have a roommate, which was honestly a pure blessing. He couldn't imagine sharing his room with anyone and risking people discovering his addiction for banana milk. If there was anything he was whipped for, then it surely was a brick of banana milk. He could have those for endless hours and never get tired of it.

He was about to walk away alongside his best friend when something caught his eyes.

Room number 48 - Kim Taehyung.

His eyes almost fell off their orbs as he realised the closeness of that specific chamber to his. Kim Taehyung was going to be in the same block as him; only two rooms away.

****.

This wasn't exactly great.

"What does it say?" The smoker intervened.

The latter was royally facing the other way, not quite bothered to even take a little peak at whatever was written.

"Ah, just random stuffs which doesn't involve us. Some guys will be getting roommates tomorrow but neither your room nor mine is in the list." Jungkook explained.

"And what about Hoseok and Namjoon?"

It took a moment for the younger to process the question directed at him. Once his brain registered the information, he flipped the page once again.

Hoseok lived in room number 42 and apparently, he was to share his sleeping area with some dude called Hangyeol. His fingers traced down further until the truth untold itself.

Kim Namjoon lived in room number 48.

Now this was what anyone would refer to as a harsh slap in the face.
