Heng Family

The door opened magically as i neared it. Tall men appeared in front of me, wearing a pair of suits while his gun was on the side. He held the door for me as I walked through, his fierce face flashing large white teeth.

'Good evening, Ms. Aquila, 'he said. 'Earlier, Sir Canis was looking for you, Looks worried! ' he went on.

In my case, he looked sorry for me. I started to say something but didn't. Instead I walked away from him and went inside the house. He is one of my father's guards, Dad hired him to protect him from bad people, especially those who want to steal his position as CEO of a company. My only wonder is why I have to go out to shop, meanwhile we have so many helpers. 'stepmother is trying hard to coax father.' I still had to get used to it. I began to wonder. Did they want me to be eliminated in the Heng Family. The door shut and then there was that slightly sickening feeling as i entered the house. There was a whole group of maids lined up waiting for their master. The maid never changed. They had the same look on their faces that they had at the momentum serving the Heng Family.

'Good evening, Ms. Aquila, 'they said formally. 'Good evening,' I answered.

Fear was obvious in their actions, their mouths trembled a little open. I walked past them. One of the maids approached me.

'Ms. Aquila, 'the concern was obvious to him. 'what happened to you?' when it continues. 'Don't worry I'm fine.' I said.

She is Swan, my most trusted maid. The closest to me inside this house.

'where is Dad,' I asked him. ‘In the dining room eating with Madam Urza and Sir Canis is upstairs doing something,’ it replied.

Swan smiled at me as I walked by, but left concern on his face. There are things that when neglected, you would never have again. Many people dream of being rich, while a few do not want shiny gold. I am one of those people who no longer wants luxury. I don't know what past I have, after I regained consciousness I don't remember anything. When I opened my eyes I saw Swan.

'Dad, stepmom and brother Canis. What am I to you? ' tears dropped suddenly.

What was it someone had once said? 'when you have power, you're on your own. You got no friends, only enemies. If people are nice to you, you wonder why. You wonder what they want from you. You listen to everything they say and try to make them comfortable, but you never can.' I had laughed at the time, but now I was beginning to understand what he had meant. 'Who are you really,' I asked myself confused.

Ever since I stepped into this house, you will feel differently when you wake up; fear, anger, excitement and etc. That was an interesting thing, but dangerous. No matter how much you were liked or disliked, whenever something happened everybody show concerns and support either it's fake or not. Troublesome, being in a big family where every member of it watched everybody else for signs of success and failure. You could always tell what people thought the moment you see their faces. I knew whom they are because of the way they had acted.
