Before I show you the description, I want to show you what got me into this idea: The story is inspired by a few games and shows that included narrators and protagonist. I always thought, maybe at some point, someone would love the narrator but he or she would still be behind the screen and narrated the scene. Like, what's the life of a narrator? Are they lonely? Are they suppose to do their job?
However here's another thought.. what if the protagonist can hear the narrator? I mean there were at some point the protagonist can hear them but what if it is only them and no one else can hear them. I know what you're thinking about. There's already one like that-! No, what I meant is what if the protagonist AND the narrator are the main characters of this story? What if something more were to spark between the two? That's what this story will be about.
A young protagonist, Preacher, has had himself spawn into a blank white void. Without any knowledge of how he got here or with any logical explanation. With that being said, nothing is knowledgeable or logical at the point. Until he met a narrator, Narrow. He did not exactly met him in person but he can hear him at the least.
Thus their story begins, adventuring with an assassin in crime-induced cities, getting lost in the forest filled with magical creatures, spawn into a world full of very unique people, hurt and comfort, danger wherever they go and maybe for once. The Protagonist can see the Narrator.
The cover picture I found from the Internet but I put in the title so yeah- sorry if there's any spelling mistakes are in there.
