Amy’s voice trembled behind the blindfold as Edward tore the tape from her mouth.
“You’re here to pay for your father’s sins,” he said, his voice like ice, dragging a cold blade along her cheek.
Amy froze.
Her father was a criminal. A monster. A man with blood on his hands—rape, murder, horrors she’d tried to forget. But to her, he was still her father. And she, his only daughter.
“What… what did he do this time?” she asked, choking on fear.
Edward pressed the knife deeper into her skin, drawing blood.
“He raped and murdered my thirteen-year-old sister,” he hissed, breath warm against her ear. “Now it’s your turn to feel what she felt. Only worse.”
