Lia woke up to the sound of her alarm ringing.Lia quickly got up and did her bed."Lia!, your gonna be late for school!"her mom said but not lovingly she said it annoyingly."your not even my mom, your my stepmom,an ugly one"Lia said annoyingly but it wasn't a lie her mom died in an car accident.She went downstairs to eat breakfast,but there wasn't any."where's breakfast?"she ask trying not to roll her eyes.Before she could ask another question, her stepmom gave her money."Go to school and buy breakfast on the way"Her Stepmom said.
Lia walked to her school annoyed."Lia!"Zoe,her bestie yelled."Girl why do you look so annoyed? You look like your about to kill someone"Zoe commented "My stupid stepmom didn't make me breakfast"Lia said sarcastically."What even is your stepmom's name"Zoe said curiously "Killian,I'm not gonna spend the money she gave me,I don't want money from a witch"Lia said as Zoe laughs.
Lia and Zoe walked to school together happily laughing as Lia reached her class"GG girl"Lia said while waving goodbye to Zoe "Bye"Zoe said.
Lia sat to her seat as the teacher comes in "good morning class you have a new classmate"mrs.Smith said as the new student comes in.A boy with dark hair and dark eyes,he was wearing a hoodie.
Lia looked around and got confuse,the class was trembling.The boy next to her was a bully but he looked sacred.One girl was literally pulling her hair out,the funny kid was quite, and the teacher was standing far away from him.
"I'm Leo and that's all you need to know about me"Leo said his voice making people tremble.Lia looked around again, everyone was trembling except one, Kai the quite kid.Leo sat next to Kai and they were intimidating.
The teacher started the lesson her voice still trembling. Mrs.Smith was in the middle of talking about vertebraes when suddenly a girl fainted, in the middle of class.The teacher panicked and called some doctors and finally class was dismissed.
As Lia was walking she saw Zoe "hey girl!"Zoe said as she walked towards Lia."Hey...we got a new classmate and everyone seems to be.. scared"Lia said hoping Zoe knows something."Ohhh spill the tea!"Zoe said curiously and a little bit of excitement."His name is Leo"Lia said.Zoe stops in her track and freezes."I'll tell you in the cafeteria"Zoe said sacred.
When they reached the Cafeteria they got there food and sat in a empty table."About Leo..."Zoe said face pale,Lia looked at her waiting for an answer."He is evil stay away from him,his dad is in jail,he is a bully,and his mom is a killer!"said Zoe "is that a warning?"Lia ask sarcastically not taking in seriously."Of course it is!" Zoe said.
Before Lia could say anything the principal's voice was heard through the speakers"Attention all students classes are dismissed cameras has been saw in the restroom please go home and be safe"said the principal.Gasps filled the cafeteria.
"Lets go"Zoe said as she grabbed Lia's hand and ran to the lockers to get our bags.Lia and Zoe quickly got their bags and ran for the exit,scared of the person who put the cameras in the restroom.
Once they got out of school Lia said to Zoe"see you tomorrow"and walked to her house.As she was walking she saw Leo walking too.Lia decided to ignore Zoe's warning and talk to him.
"Hi I'm Lia,Lia Astell"Lia said warmly and suprisingly he replied."Nice to meet you Lia...but I think I'll call you shortie cuz of how short you are"Leo said teasingly."ohh come on!5'0 is not that short!"Lia said a little annoyed.
"What's your discord?"Leo asked "Lia_girl"Lia said "Leo1.0__"Leo replied"accept it ok?"Leo said "k gotta go" Lia said.
Lia went home and saw her stepmom cooking she went upstairs still annoyed with her, wishing her father comes home fast.Lia didn't think twice and jumped in her bed,she looked at her phone and she got a friend request from Leo,Lia accepted it and went to sleep.
When Lia woke up she looked at the time and it was 7:00 "I slept the whole time!?I went to sleep at 6pm and I woke up 7am!?....wait my class starts at 7:10am!"Lia said to herself while dressing as fast as she can.
Lia ran to school without even breakfast.When she got to her class she made it just in time. Mrs.Smith started the class the whole day started great until when she was going home.
Lia was walking home when she saw Leo again "hey I have something to tell you"Leo said a little nervous."What is it?"Lia ask hoping it's not something bad "you actually know me...my last name is... Cruz"
When Leo mentioned those words Lia freezed and memories came flooding in.Leo was her long lost bestfriend before Zoe.Lia's eyes tears up"your my bestfriend!"Lia said while hugging Leo
"I know...but I have to go see you tomorrow"Leo said while waving goodbye.
Lia continued to walk when suddenly she got a text from her stepmom 'your father got involved in a car crash come home' the text said.Lia broke down into tears and ran into the forest until she reached a cliff.
"I don't care! I don't want to be here anymore!"Lia yelled.She was about to jump when she heard Leo's voice"wait".Lia didnt Listen and jumped.
Leo standed there dumbfounded then yelled "I don't care!I will join you!"then jumped.
