Blakely and Dales' parents has been friends since high school and they promise to each other, that their babies will marry in the future.
Dale meet blakely when he was 4 and Blakely is 1. At first sight Dale promise to him self to marry Blakely in the future. Their parents take that as a joke, since he was just a 4 years old boy.
As time goes by Blakely is now 6 and Dale is 9, they grow up together, they become unseparated and do everything to protey each other. Dale always listened to Blakely. Dale thought he loves Blakely as a little sister, but the truth is he loves her as a girl he wants to marry.
Dale is good at basketball and soccer, while Blakely is good at playing instruments. They taught other what they are good at. They even make a lullaby;

One day, Dale's grandfather got sick his parents wanted to move there ,since no ones gonna take care of his grandfather and their business is moving there that's why even when Dale don't want to move away but he needs to. Since his grandfather needs her and his parents also work there.
As Blakely don't want Dale to go away she cried so much. Her parents feel bad, but can't do anything about it, since Dale wants Blakely to feel happy he gave her a necklace with a ring its Dale's Family heirloom and as return, Blakely also gave him a bracelet and promise him to always wear the necklace everyday same with Dale. They promise not to forget each other. Dale promised to come back.
Dale left, they realized that they love each other, but it was too late. Despite the distance, Dale didn't give up- he always calls Blakely. He's happy everytime they talked, they always made sure that they were taking care of themselves. If he forgot to call, Blakely calls him first. Time passed, and everything slowly changing. They couldn't play together anymore, their calls became rushed and infrequent. If it wasn't Dale needing to do homework, it was Blakely having to cram school works. They could no longer be back going to school together, play together, and visit the park to pet kittens like they used to. Even the set times they agreed to talk would get postponed again and again due to their busy schedule. And also Blakely needed to move because her father's business is moving to other state.
They always miss each other but they was not able to call each other because they are busy and lost contact. Dale always wants to meet her and as promise he wear the bracelet and always remember Blakely- same as Blakeley.
As times goes by Blakely is now 18 and Dale is 21, Dale still remembered Blakely while Blakely lost all her memories of him and everything becomes blurry since she was just 6 at that time.
Now Blakely is a 1st Year college and Dale is 3rd year college. As Blakely going around the campus with her friend she came at the gym there are so many people watching basketball and there she saw Dale playing, and just looking at him. She fall in love again with him but since she doesn't remember him, she did not recognize him, and now Dale is having a break, he looked around and see Blakely as soon as he meet his gaze he immediately recognized her and smiles, and suddenly he saw her talking and walking around with a boy, he feel sad and thought she completely forgot him, but he still wants to talk to her. On the other hand Blakely also meet his gaze and his heart skip a beat and suddenly his friend interrupted her, and as they were walking, talking and laughing and she again looked at Dale who is now talking with a Girl she suddenly feel hurt and she run outside and stop, she was confused- why it is so hurt.
Days passed since she last visited at the campus and forgot what happened and she suddenly got a chat message from her parents that they want to have a dinner with her. Since she finally got into college, they wanted to celebrate and also they want to have dinner with their friend and meet his childhood sweetheart. The moment she read the word childhood sweetheart she wondered how he is now and also feels mixed emotion, on the other hand Dale also got the text from his parents and he feel happy and excited since he always wants to meet her ever since that day.
The night has come, since she wanted to give a good expression with his childhood sweetheart she dress up and she's so beautiful and Dale on the other hand, he also dress up properly, he never did that before- he effortlessly dress before and he's so handsome now. And the time they go to the location where they were having dinner, they arrived at the same time and their parents is already there and talking and chitchating about what happened all this year.
The moment they layed their eyes to each other, she's nervous and Dale felt so happy to finally see her up close for the first tIme in a long time. And finally they come inside and greated their parents and they spoke to each other. While talking Dale feel a mixed emotion while Blakely feel a bit happy and nervous. Finally, Dale's mom ask what is Blakely's course and she said she is a business administration since she wants to continue their family business and Dale's dad said that Dale is also in business administration 3rd year and told her she can ask for help and Dale agreed.
After that its time for them to go home, and Dale's parents ask Dale to take Blakely to his apartment, Blakely wants to refuse but Dale agreed so he take Blakely to her apartment. On their way home, Blakely start asking about what happened all this year, while talking she suddenly asked who is that girl the other day, and Dale answer all her questions and told her she is just a friend, also Dale asked about the boy she talking and walking with, as he is jealous and she told him not to worry and he is just also a friend. Finally, they arrived at the apartment.
As they got inside they keep talking, until she asked about the promise of their parents about the marriage when they were little, and he said "why are you asking? dont you want to marry me?" and she respond "i did not say that, im just asking because you might have someone you liked" and he said "do you have someone? " and she replied "no, but im asking because you might don't want to marry me"
" I don't like anyone else, Blakely. I love you ever since the day i saw you, and I always wants to be with you, i felt alone the moment i left you. But as we always called and the bracelet you gave me, it gaves me strength and happy until now. The moment I saw you the other day, I feel so happy that finally you are here, and now that we see up close and talking like this I feel nervous and happy at the same time" he confessed. The momet he stop talking, the surrounding filled with silence. Blakely cleared her throat to break the silence, she smiled and looked at Dales eyes,
"I'm happy, Dale. I might don't remember everything right not, but my heart is at peace right now- it's a sign. " They hugged each other. Before Dale left Blakely, he ask if she wanted to have a drink with him and she agreed.
He left, Blakely felt so happy, because she finally meet him after a long time and also because of his confession. She sobbed her face into her pillow, with a smile on her face. Until, she got asleep.
The next day, Blakely wants to meet Dale, so she asked his parents where he lived and they told her where is his apartment. As she got at the parking lot, she suddenly changed her mind, she was about to go to the campus, but Dale saw her and they exchanged "good morning". As she was about to go, Dale suddenly spoke "can we go together" she paused for a while and replied "okay".
As they were walking together, she started talking about what happened last night and by remembering that Dale suddenly felt embarrassed, Blakely hold Dales hand and He was shocked but happy. Blakely realized that the moment he left, she felt lonely and the moment he saw Dale playing basketball that day, she fall in love again. She was wishing that the boy playing the basketball and her childhood sweetheart are one. And the moment she confirmed it- she feels happy, and also the moment he confessed she feel so happy that she called her parents, and told them that she wanted to marry Dale immediately. And the moments she sleeps while listening to the lullaby they made.
The moment she stop talking she looked at Dale and saw him blushing, and now she is also blushing- they both laughed, cutely.
Dale asked " did your parents agreed? " and she responded "Well, they were shocked at first, but they agree."
