Samuru Kasai, a formal martial artist, discovers what depression looks like for the first time after losing his wife, Rin. However, Samael, the demon of fire, attempts to consume his soul. Surprisingly, the power within Samuru's soul prevents this process and instead bestows upon him the powers of the demon.
