...Dead Alive- ...I Still Hear Her Breathe...

this is my first novella and my first post here .

Introduction:

Can you ever imagine that a murdered can come alive?
If not, read my story.
And a warning, never call out her name. ..
Else, you too will hear her breathe...........

Characters:

"I" here, is ROBERT- A man whose ex-wife, Kate, had been killed in an accident ,and now....three years after living in lonliness, he remarried and .... he was living with his new wife, Linda, in Rochester, NY .
They'd gone for a tour to Vancouver Beach for honeymoon as they recently, just a few months ago , got married.

KATE- Robert's ex-wife

LINDA- Robert's current wife


The Story Begins---



I and Linda were way back home from Vancouver.
We were really tired after the tour but to be true, we really enjoyed to the fullest!

I'm the car, Linda kept telling me about going and having lunch in a restaurant and later having ice-cream but I kept telling her that I'm really tired to stop anywhere. I just wanted to go home and rest. At last, she stopped arguing and I continued driving home.

When we reached home, it was evening, nearly 6pm. We got down the car, unloaded the stuff, and went inside.

After freshening up and each having a glass of fresh fruit juice, we went to the balcony and started our evening gossips.

Linda interrogated," Robert, We married just few months passed. But I've known, that you're still missing Kate. How many a times I've told you forget about her but you're too stubborn in this case! She's still your priority even when she's not alive anymore! Please forget her! Why don't you?"

Linda, though loved me a lot, never actually understood that I couldn't love anyone more than Kate. No one. Still I tried to make her feel loved.


Anyway, in an expressionless tone, I replied," Okay okay,mmmmmmm, I'll try to love you more, dear."

I was lost in my thoughts about Kate when suddenly, I heard a noise.
It came from the kitchen.
I asked Linda to go and check. She went in. Suddenly she came out running and shouted," Robert! Come in! I. .....I.....I.........." before she completed her sentence , she fell to the ground!

I realised she'd seen something very unexpected that left her speechless! spellbound! and.....she couldn't stand that!

I went to her and started my trial of getting her consciousness back.

A thought worried me....
What such thing did she see that she at last fainted!?

It remained an unanswered question until..........until .....
I saw......




her......
I...I saw her!
Couldn't believe my eyes!
Is that really what I saw!?
