"How can I help her?" Xavier asks Dr.Valentine as he gazes at his mate who hidden under the hospital bed with her bestfriend Serena trying to talk to her.
"I don't know where to start" he says unsure on what to do.
The rehab room door opens and Serena exits with tears in her eyes but refuses to let them fall as she faces her Alpah and the Doctor.
"What's your analysis?" She asks her voice cracking.
"She's been in her wolf form for thirteen years. She may or may be able to shift back. Her injuries are internal and external also some haven't healed as yet and she has some type of drug in her system. Like an amplifier for when she fights"
"Is there any way to help her" Xavier asks.
"I am not sure. In this instance she may be more beast than human and may never come back from it." he says lowering his eyes to the floor.
"Stop it. You don't know her. She's a fighter and can come back from this. You and anyone else who doubts her be damned" she says leaving the clinic.
"Alpha, in her state she's not the Luna that our pack needs but I trust Serena's judgement. Let's just hope she's right" he says before I heads for his office. Leaving the alpha alone with his thoughts.
