Regret

After the good meal, Gina walked inside the castle, she still doesn't know how this devil allowed her to be happy. In these 2 years, Never a moment he allowed her to be happy, he held her as a prisoner and tortured her in all ways possible. How could possibly be a change of heart for this cold hearted demon? Or Is he planning me to torture me in other ways? She was very confused. She looked at Charles who was walking swiftly, preparing and arranging stuff. It looked like there was a storm inside the house. Is this the storm that was awaiting for her? Is he going to punish her? What is it all about? Gina looked at this scene and went near Charles to ask about it. "What's going on Butler Charles?", Gina's face was filled with confusions. Looking at her confused face Charles couldn't help but say, "You have to ask the Young Master about it, Miss Gina, We are not allowed to spill any beans", he walked away and continued doing his job.

Why is it all so mysterious? What is wrong with Alen today, First, he let me have fun, Now, he is turning his house upside down! Gina cant stand the mystery anymore and she finally gathered up the courage to ask about it to him. She walked upstairs and stood in front of his study, before knocking the door, the worst memories flashed past her mind, the number of times he has tormented her, harassed her, bullied her, even in this study there are many memories she wish that she could forget, she wish that she can wake up as if it was all in her dream. She couldn't bring herself to knock at the door. She decided to face whatever that was going to come and she turned around, "Come in", Alen's voice sounded from the inside. Done! Its all done! What can I do now? What if he bullies me again? But she cant runaway from it anymore. She pushed open the door and she was once again shocked. He was sitting at the chair elegantly as he looked into her eyes, She was baffled, She saw a hint of gentleness in his face, something she hasn't seen in 2 years. In 2 years, all she saw was that cruel smile, his disdainful face, his disgusting look, his words which were sharper than a dagger. WAKE UP! Why are you such a foodie! He just let you have a meal and you already think he is gentle! "What are you standing there for? Come Over!", Alen looked at her and his gaze was abnormally deep. Gina felt totally weird as she walked over and stood beside him.

"Look, I want to tell you something. And this time, listen carefully!", Alen said in a low voice. Her heart started beating so fast, It was as if her heart would jump out at anytime. She doesn't know what all this fuss is for. She had never seen Alen being so secretive and mysterious. The Alen in her eyes would say things straight into one's face without any second thought. "There is someone arriving tomorrow, that person is the most important person not only in my life but also in your life, maybe your life would completely change from tomorrow, maybe your life would have new entrants and some people's returns and people who are close might walk very far away. So I want you to be prepared for it. I don't want you to panic over it..", before he could finish talking she interrupted "Why you should care about me?", Alen looked at her, turned his head away and said coldly "Are you deaf? I told you that person is an important person to me! I don't want your attitude to affect that person in any way." Heh. She was foolish. How dumb was she to even think about he has some concerns for her. He never cared about her and he will never do. "Heh. Whatever gonna happen tomorrow, it cant be worse than what happened 2 years ago.", She said as she walked away.

Maybe this is our fate. This is how we are destined to be. Alen looked at her disappearing from his sight. His eyes were warm and he doesn't have the cold aura. He was tired. He was very tired. Gina felt today was a very strange day, Whenever she brought up the day two days ago, Alen would burst up, he would scream on top of his lungs and will bully her till her body was sore. But today, he let her go, just like that. Is tomorrow a more eventful day than that day 2 years ago? Who is that person Alen was talking about? She walked in the bedroom and laid on the bed. A person important to him and her. Who was that common person to both of them? She and Alen were clearly not acquainted to begin with. He just took control of her life just like that, jumping from nowhere, how could they possibly have a person in common? There was only 4 important persons to her in her life. His mom, dad and elder brother who turned her backs on her that night and took away all her happiness and the other, was that person, that person she least want to remember, least want to think about.

Thinking about all this, her body shivered, she cant sleep, she doesn't have any peace of mind. The door was pushed open and the familiar figure stood in front of her. "Don't wanna sleep?", Alen asked her, laying beside her. She doesn't reply. He rolled over and pushed her into his embrace. He pressed her head against his chest. She wanted to struggle away. "Just for one day, don't struggle!", Alen's voice sounded above her head. "What's so weird with you today?", Gina couldn't help but ask. "Why are you talking a lot today?",Alen's usually ice cold voice doesn't have any tinge of coldness. She sighed and closed her eyes in his embrace. The smell was familiar, this embrace which she was used to, but why it feels different? The ice cold embrace of him, now carries a tinge of gentleness but why is that? Is she mistaken? Is she overthinking? What's gonna happen tomorrow? Why Alen behaves so weird. "You know something, dummy?", Alen's voice sounded near her ears. Gina didn't reply but he continued, "There are quite a few things in your life which you cannot change no matter what, even if you don't wanna do, you end up doing it and all which is left behind is regret!" Alen's voice sounded so weird. Gina was shocked hearing it! Alen never really talks about anything with her. Now all of a sudden, he was talking about regret? What will someone like him regret? She couldn't reply, She doesnt know what to reply. She muttered under her breath, "Alen, you've already been totally weird today, i know I can't ask anything from you! But can we sleep? you said tomorrow is going to be an eventful day, I have to be prepared for it and I need rest.", Alen slowly pulled her close to his body and they both were covered in a blanket, "Okay! Go to sleep" Alen's voice was unusually gentle and this gentleness made her fear even more. Alen looked at her with a longing eyes, he knows he has her by his side, but the price he pays for it is huge, the price he pays for it is earning her hatred and that's the thing he regret the most
