As quickly as he lifted my chin I jerked my head away

I never asked to be married off to a monster

He tucks my wet hair behind my ear

My voice cracks and I feel the tears beginning to fill my eyes

As I watch the rain drip down from his wet hair and his wet clothes stick to his skin I avoid his eyes

His beautiful eyes….like two pools I drown in as soon as I dive in

I won’t forgive this….I hate him and I will not give him the satisfaction of giving in

Slapping my face away I watched as my husband walked off leaving me there in the cold down pour

I looked down at my fist to see them balled up tight to hold my frustration
