Lily's father was a lawyer but sadly he died in a car accident, when she was 17 years old, from then on the mother raised her on her own and yea side note: Leo Mercer, Leonora uncle is Lily mother best friend, that is why he helps her a lot and now that her daughter is of age to get married he introduced Tristan a business tycoon, billionaire, Lily is 26 and Tristan is 28.
There was a promise to make one of the Donovan family to Marry into the Blackwell family which was supposed to be Leonora but both the Blackwell family and Donovan family thought that she was too young and that Lily was a better candidate and so they choose her instead.
But the Donovan parents and Leonora uncle knew that nora loved and like him alot and so they didn't tell her about the promise.
