Plato and Andrei

The next day

Morning at Work

The truck arrived at the entrance of the building with Andrei driving the vehicle

As Plato reaches the truck , Andrei steps down leaving the drivers seat for Plato

Plato then goes on to sit on the drivers seat . Andrei gets in and the cabin is sealed

The both of them remove the mask . Plato ignites the engine , shifts the gear and moves the vehicle

So its begun , your journey as a driver . Said Andrei

Yes Andrei , I have learnt a lot from you and Sergey . So its a lot easier than if I was a real rookie . replied Plato

Talking Sergey , He is off . Right . He is off being a traveler . Into the far unknows , grinned Andrei

Into the far unknowns , yes . He will be fine anywhere in the galaxy . A man like that will survive anywhere . replied Plato

Indeed . It is sad to see him go . He was a top bloke . Said Andrei

Andrei , said Plato

There seems to be an arrangement between you and Sergey , yes ? asked Plato

Yes , there is an arrangement between the two of us . Actually I have a set of instructions from Sergey I just have to follow them , Replied Andrei

And you Plato, you too are in business with us ? asked Andrei

I'm . replied Plato . Cutting short the conversation purposely

Good to hear . Said Andrei

Andrei looked over to Plato . We only do business on the day I drive . When you drive , we just do our job and get back . Said Andrei

Why is that ? asked Plato

I do not know , Its just Sergey's instructions . Maybe he just does not trust you enough . Replied Andrei

Or it could be , he does not want my hands dirty . Said Plato in a confident tone

The last line drew silence in the truck

Andrei was a bit taken aback

What do you mean by that ? he asked Plato

Its nothing . I was just pulling your leg , Andrei . Said Plato

You do not make wise joke like that . Ok , you understand . Warned Andrei .

Plato smiled .

I'm serious Plato . That's not cool . We are all in it . Said Andrei

It was a joke . Of course we are all in it . Replied Plato

There was no conversation between the two of them after that for quite some time

Plato was busy concentrating on the roads and keeping his head focused , so as to not make any mistake .

A wild animal running between the roads in the early morning's of the hour was not that uncommon . There were a lot of accidents that occurred , sometimes injuring both the humans and the animals . And this particular section Plato was heading into was the most dangerous portion of all . And to their misfortune , it was still very dark . This made Plato a bit uncomfortable , but he did not show any such nervousness to Andrei . He kept a cool demeanor and drove in to the dangerous part .

The lights need to be on bright , Plato . Instructed Andrei

Plato shifted the lights to high beam and the roads were a bit more clearer to him

This gave a boost of confidence to Plato ,who drove in more confidently

The roads curved a lot more than the usual and there were huge potholes and maintenance work goin on

Andrei , said Plato . What if Mr. Peter finds out about out business , which is illegal

Then we are fired , it is not like he would shoot us . Replied Andrei

And you are fine with that ? what about your future , your security ? asked Plato

I need the money , Plato . I'm no more a single man . You know , I'm soon going to get married and this is a time I need to take a risk . replied Andrei

And if there is a black mark , then no government organization is going to hire us after that . Said Plato

I have a plan , and Sergey has set it up for you as well . said Andrei

What is that ? asked Plato

If we get caught , we join Andrea . And she pays a lot more than the government . Said Andrei

We join her . Heck , we do not even know what she does . She might be making bombs and planning to blow up important buildings and people . said Plato

Come on , do not be naïve . Your imagination stretches far too much . Replied Andrei

I'm just saying . It is a possibility . And if we get caught Andrei , I'm moving back to Greece . I will not work for an illegal . Said Plato

That's your choice man . But right now , you just got to relax. It will be fine . Said Andrei trying to reassure Plato

The dangerous part was over , and to their fortune there were no wild animals running across the road .

There was a bit sunshine , that started to some out from between the clouds .

Plato increased the speed of the truck

Plato , said Andrei

Do you really think that you can make a bomb out of nuclear waste ? asked Andrei

No , replied Plato

Then the case seems to be settled . Said Andrei

Lets go dump this in the yard and get back to the plant . The day looks really long , today

Lets get the job done, said Plato as they saw the dump yard was in their vicinity
