Can't be said better.
Never believed in love at first sight until i felt it.
Couldn't even breathe good cause he stole my breath away.
But at the end of the day he told me he was only with me because his friends told him it was bad luck rejecting a girl's advances.
I wasn't even his type apparently. I was too skinny for him and his words left an open wound in my heart and so much insecurities about my attractiveness to men that even nor when it's 4 years on i have no courage to show my bfs my body. It's just one breakup after the other because i'm never comfortable enough in my skin to be myself around. I'm always worried about being judged.
Don't even know why i'm sharing my sad story but ok...

Not because you are still grieving means everyone has to continue grieving with you.
That's a very bad concept of things.
I've seen people get married again within a year of losing their partner and it's not that they don't grieve or they don't feel the loss or that they never loved the person. Quite simply the dead is gone and the living goes on living. You get past the sadness of them leaving or dying by appreciating the short time you spent being part of eachothers lives.
In simple terms, death shouldn't be imprisonment for those left living. Everyone dies... some sooner than others. So we grieve hard, we look through the memories and learn to treasure the brief moments we had.
It doesn't necessarily get easier but it gets better to cope with so we move on. But do remember that everyone recovers differently, so we try not to label people as "didn't love them much" or " they had such deep feelings" just because of the time spent mourning.
