So, any questions?
Roa (Kayvn)
I have a question, Sensei.
Roa (Kayvn)
What's the difference between Japanese animation and American Animation?
Kakashi Hatake
Hmm, that's a good question.
Kakashi Hatake
The main difference is the animation styles. The look and feel of Japanese animation differ from American animation most clearly in the design of human characters.
Kakashi Hatake
Another difference is the content.
Kakashi Hatake
In America, animated cartoons and films have long been considered more of a medium for children, and most animation produced in America is targeted for that audience. However, it doesn't mean that American animation are only for children.
Kakashi Hatake
In Japan, anime can be for children, teens or adults. What is appropriate for children, teens, and adults can differ between the two cultures; appropriate for a 10-year-old in Japan may not be considered appropriate for an American 10-year-old.
Lenz
Sensei, what does Anime-influenced animation means?
Kakashi Hatake
That means non-Japanese works of animation that are similar to or inspired by anime. Anime-influenced animation adapted some of the features of anime.
Kakashi Hatake
One example is "Avatar: The Last Airbender"
Kakashi Hatake
The animation is a blend of the Western, & Japanese styles.
Kakashi Hatake
It is not considered to be called as "anime" because it didn't originate from Japan. The animation was produced in United States, thus it is called a cartoon.
Raiyun (Kizray)
Got it, Sensei.
Kakashi Hatake
That's all? How about you Lenzy?
Lenz
I have a question but it is not related to the lesson.
Kakashi Hatake
What is it?
Lenz
What is that book you are reading, Sensei?
Raiyun (Kizray)

Kakashi Hatake
