Detective Ethane stepped out from his car along with Mike onto the rain soaked city of Ashwood .

As he approached the crime scene , he could see a familiar sight of police tape and flashy lights . The officer on scene nodded to him as he passed , there face grim .

Mike : Another one Ethane ( shaking his head )

Ethane eyes narrowed as he took in the scene .The victim a young women lay on the ground her eyes frozen and no clothes on her body . A small crowd gathered near the police tape their face filled with mix of curiosity and horror .

Ethane : What do we know ( Ethane asked turning to Mike )

Mike : Not much yet , no witness , no footage

Ethane : (Nodded his mind racing with possibilities . He kneel down beside victim , taking in every detail .

( Suddenly his eyes narrowed as he carefully placed the strand of hair into a small evidence bag. It was tiny price of evidence but it could break they needed to catch the killer )

He stood up, his mind racing with possibilities he knew just the person to take this evidence to ( his girlfriend y/n and a renowned forensic doctor ) Ethane couldn’t help but smile as he thought about her. He told Mike to take the evidence to doctor y/n because he had to do some more investigation.

Mike went to forensic lab and spotted y/n bent over a microscope ,her long black hair tied in a ponytail.

( Also yn is Mike’s sister )

Mike : Hey shorty ( walking to her )

Y/n : oo what a horrible surprise brother what you doing here .

Mike : I need your help, we found a hair stand at crime scene and I want you to take a look .

( Y/n eyes lit up with interest as she took the bag from Mike )

Y/n : let’s take a look ( her voice professional and confident)

After some time

Y/n: hey , bro I found something interesting .

Mike: (raiding an eyebrow) What it is .

Y/n : the hair sample you brought ,it doesn’t belong to the victim .

Mike :( suprised) WHAT ! then whose it is

Y/n: ( shrugging ) I am not sure yet but I can tell you that it’s from someone else entirely.

Mike: ( frowning) That’s wired. I could have sworn it was victims hair

Y/n: that’s because it was planted at the crime scene

Mike : (eyes widening) planted? You mean intentionally left there?

Y/n : (nodding ) exactly that’s what I mean.

Mike : ( gritting his teeth ) well that’s not going to work we will find out whose hair it is and track them down

Y/n ( smiles ) that’s the spirit bro now let me get back to work and see if I can find some other view.

Also she is detective Ethane’s girlfriend and detective Mike’s younger sister .

Detective Mike walked into Ethane’s room where he was sitting and was waiting for him.

Ethane : hey man what’s latest news

Mike took a seat and fill Ethane in on what yn has discovered .

Ethane eyes widened in suprise, WHAT ? That’s game changer do we know who’s hair it is ?

Mike :( shook his head ) not yet but yn still working on it she think it was planted at crime scene to throw us off .

Ethane : (Nodding ) that makes sense our killer is smart but he is also greatly desperate and is making mistake .

Mike : why do we need to find out who’s hair it is , it is the best late right now.

Ethane : I will start canvassing the area see if anyone recognise the hair, you go with yn and see if she can lift any DNA from sample .

Mike modded already mentally preparing himself for long hours ahead “let’s do this WE ARE GOUNG TO CATCH THE KILLER .

...THE DAY OF MURDER ...

1:30am at night

The alleyway was dimly lit , the only sound the distant hum of city at night . The young women Sarah , walked down the alley her heels clicking on wet pavement.

Suddenly , a figure emerged from shadow he was tall dressed in black hoddy and wore a twisted mask that distorted his features.

Sarah‘s eyes widened as figure approached her, she tried to run but her feet felt heavy as if rooted, the figure loomed over her in faint light . Sarah scream was muffled as he claimed a gloved hand over her mouth suddenly Sarah felt unconscious the man lifted her and took her to an empty house the same faded to black.

...The Next day ...

Detective Ethane eyes widened as he carefully lifted the edge of bleach plastic sheeting. The smell of decay him like a punch to the gut and he knew they had found something.

Underneath the plastic they found body of a young women wrapped in a black trash bag .

The bag was tied at top length of twine and the women face was discovered in further scheme ......

Mike : ( looked pale as he took in the scene ) this is the girl who have been missing for weeks .

Ethane : (Nodded ) Let’s get her to forensic lab and see what they tell us .

As they carefully lifted the body onto a stretcher kept in mind was already racing with number of question

Who was the women ?

How did she end up here ?

And who was the monster who had doen this to her ?

As the beleaguered statue “site of small piece of paper that was tied to the nearby trash bag. He carefully plucked it out and exclaimed it . It was a small paper had a message with red ink

At Forensic Lab

Yn : ( standing at front of the room looking at two detective) I have finished analysing the evidence from both the crime scene .

Ethane: ( leaning forward) And ?

Yn : ( serious ) The murderers are identical same MO , same method of killing , same everything .

Mike :( frowns) that’s not possible the victims were different, the crime scene were different.

Yn: (shaking her head ) I know it sounds crazy but evidence who ever killed this woman is using same ritual .

Ethane : ( grimly ) this change every thing we are not looking for separate killers , we are looking for one .

Mike : ( nodding ) and that means we can combine the evidence from both the cases and start looking for connection .

Yn : ( smiling softly) that’s exactly what I was thinking .

Ethane: ( standing up ) alright let’s get to work we have to catch the killer .

Mike :( standing up ) I have got a few ideas on where to start .

Yn : I will start analysing the combined evidence and see if I can find any leads.

(The three of them began discussing their plan of action , determined to catch the killer and bring justice to victim )
