*Ruby starts the day by walking around and heading towards the library*
*She slowly walks into the library and looks for a seat*
*She sees an empty seat in the corner*
* she looks around but doesn’t see anyone *

I’m sure nobody will notice me, I’ll blend right in
*A few minutes later a tall handsome boy strolls into the library *
* He glances at Ruby before turning away and disappearing behind a bookshelf *
Ruby
* I wonder where he went *
* As Ruby was about to take a look, the boy suddenly appeared behind her and said…*
Ruby
* How? How did that scare me so much *
Ruby
H-hello, w-what do you n-need?
Carter
*smirks* *too easy*
* Carter pulls on her wrist *
Carter
Remember, this is my seat
* Ruby scurried out the library and into the open corridor *
* There were children everywhere : fighting, screaming, crying and throwing things *
* The first bell rings and it’s time for period one*
Un trustworthy
* She says as she picks up her phone and checks *
* Ruby thumbles towards the drawer and pulls out her outfit for school *
* she grabs her brush and runs out to the bus stop *
* she barely says as she starts to pant*
* Soon Carter drives up and asks Ruby if she needs a ride *

Need a ride bookworm ?
Carter
Don’t worry I don’t bite

I’ll just be on my way then
* she climbs into the car and he starts the engine *
Ruby
* This car smells like…*
*she leans her head back against the seat *
Ruby
Why are you helping me?
Carter
* There’s the stammer again *

B-but this isn’t school….

* He tugs her out the car *

* He gets into the car and starts the engine *

* I sat there for who knows how long *

* it had started to get cold and dark *

*he drags her into the backseat of his car as she starts to wake up *
