''When Life Ran Over Me...Fate Saved Me''
Chapter One: The Rain That Changed Everything
Sarah was a quiet, kind-hearted girl who lived in a merciless household. Although she did everything in her power to please everyone, her family saw nothing but weakness in her, as if her kindness were a crime deserving of punishment.
Her father was harsh; he never smiled at her and only called her by her name in an angry voice. Her mother, on the other hand, saw her as nothing more than a servant, ordering her around, scolding her, and holding her responsible for everything, even things that had nothing to do with her.
Sarah felt like a stranger in her own home, like an unwanted guest. She didn't have a private room, but rather a small corner where she slept and hid her notebooks, where she wrote down her dreams and thoughts that no one dared to hear.
One day, while she was sitting alone in the back garden, she received a message from her friend Camelia, inviting her to spend the day in a nearby city. The trip was short, but it felt like a small window toward freedom.
Sarah agreed and went with her friends, laughing for the first time in years, feeling that life could be beautiful, even for one day.
But when she returned, she hit the wall of reality once again.
She entered the house and went to greet her father. Without looking at her, he said, "Are you back? Where have you been? With whom? Everyone is talking about you!"
Then he started screaming, accusing her of things that didn't happen, slandering her, and insulting her with words that broke her heart.
She tried to respond, but her mother intervened, saying sharply, "Go and set the table for dinner. There's no time for your empty talk."
But Sarah didn't move. Her eyes were tearing up, and her chest was heaving.
Her mother shouted, "If you don't like our life, leave the house! Go live somewhere else. We don't need you!"
At that moment, Sarah felt as if the world had closed in on her. She left the house in the middle of the night, the rain pouring down heavily, as if the sky were crying with her.
She was running aimlessly, shivering with cold, pain, and fear.
Suddenly, a car hit her, and she fell to the ground, unconscious.
When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a white room, the rain still pounding on the windows.
A handsome young man with Asian features was looking at her worriedly, saying gently,
"Are you okay? I'm sorry... I didn't see you on the road. I hit you with the car, and I took you to the hospital immediately."
Sarah tried to speak, but her voice was weak. He said to her, "My name is Leo. I work here in Morocco, as the head of a railway engineering company. I'm sorry again, but you're fine. You have a minor cut on your leg and shoulder. I'll go now for the exit procedures and be right back."
A few minutes later, Leo returned, picked her up, and led her to his car. He told her, "Give me your address so I can take you there."
She cried, "I don't have a home... no one wants me." She explained her story with her family.
Leo was silent for a moment, then said, "I can't leave you like this. You'll come with me to my house until you get better."
He took her to his luxurious palace, which was like an incredible dream.
The servants greeted him with respect, the decor was lavish, and the atmosphere was serene.
He told her, "Consider this house your home." No one will hurt you here."
In the following days, Sarah began to regain her strength. She spoke to Liu in English and discovered that he was not only rich, but kind-hearted, respected her, and encouraged her to be strong.
A month later, he told her he was returning to China, but he said, "You will stay here, and I will be back soon." I've arranged everything. This house is yours until I return."
She accompanied him to the airport and hugged him tightly, crying.
He told her, "Don't cry. We'll talk every day, and I'll come back to you."
And indeed, Sarah began a new life. She enrolled in a private school, began learning martial arts and self-defense, and studied hard.
She transformed from a weak girl into a strong woman who knew how to protect herself and command respect.
She didn't contact her family for a year, but they began to worry and ask about her, even though they hadn't looked for her when she cried in front of them.
A year later, Liu returned to Morocco.
When she saw him, she ran over, hugged him tightly, and said, "I missed you so much..."
He said, smiling, "Me too. Even though we used to talk every day, seeing you now is something else."
Then he added, "I'll stay here for two months, and then I'll return to China. But this time... you'll come with me." I've prepared a new identity and a passport for you. Your old life is over, and it's time for a new beginning."
She looked at him with tearful eyes, but this time she wasn't crying from pain... but from gratitude.
That moment was a new beginning, unlike anything she'd ever known before.
She was no longer that poor girl... but a woman who knew her worth, ready to face the world.
